🏆 6 WEEK CHALLENGE WINNER 🏆
Eiméar Ní Mordha
A massive congratulations to our 6 Week Challenge winner, Eimear! 👏🔥
Just look at those before and after photos 😬
From day one, Eimear came in with a clear plan:
Train consistently
Track her nutrition
Improve her daily habits
Lose 4–5kg (ended up loosing way above this)
Not only did she achieve those goals… she went above and beyond them 💪
Her transformation is a perfect example of what happens when you commit to the process, trust the coaching, and stay consistent. It wasn’t about being perfect every day—it was about showing up, making better choices, and putting one foot in front of the other for six weeks.
The result? Incredible progress, more confidence, healthier habits, and a foundation that will last far beyond this challenge.
To every single person who took part and submitted their results… thank you. 🙌 You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. The effort, commitment and progress across the board has been amazing, and we genuinely can’t wait to share more of your stories over the coming days.
Eimear may have taken home the top spot, but everyone who committed to improving themselves is a winner in our eyes. ❤️
Please join us in congratulating Eimear in the comments! 👇🎉

“I 100% believe this gym is what has kept me out of hospital.”
We received this message on our latest upload (see last post)
Messages like this remind us that fitness isn’t just about losing weight or looking better
It’s about living better.
When most people think about joining a gym, they think about fitting into smaller clothes or getting ready for a holiday
But the biggest changes happen long after the scales move.
It’s having more energy to get through the day.
It’s feeling stronger and more capable.
It’s improving your physical and mental health.
It’s reducing your risk of illness.
It’s giving yourself the best possible chance of living a longer, healthier life.
This message came from one of our members who is just weeks away from reaching an incredible milestone…
One full year without a hospital admission.
We can’t take all the credit because
They’ve shown up.
They’ve put in the work.
They’ve committed to themselves.
But that’s exactly what Movement is here for.
To provide the coaching
To provide the support
To provide the accountability
To create an environment where people can become healthier, stronger and more resilient.
Because the goal has never just been about six-packs
The goal is to help people live longer, healthier and happier lives.
If you’re waiting for the “perfect time” to start…
Start now.
Your future self will thank you❤️

6 years ago today… this just popped up on memories
It’s crazy what can change in six years
On this day back in 2020, and I announced that we were taking a huge leap and opening Movement Lifestyle & Fitness. We had a vision, a handful of equipment, plenty of uncertainty, and a belief that we could build something that genuinely changed people’s lives
We started of in June that year right bang in the middle of Covid with gyms due to open in 2-3 weeks time still not knowing what would be infront of us
We opened with the intention of 1-2-1 training just taking our clients we had back then and providing them a place to train during all the madness and uncertainty back then, opening up 1 floor which would now be where our members area of the gym would be then slowly but slowing taking room by room across the next set of months
We ran bootcamps and when gyms were closed we had about 20 zoom sessions a day and at one point there was around 50 people on the one zoom call 😬
This was even before we switched our business model in the May of 2021 into SGPT as this wasn’t a thing back then as SGPT was slowly but surely being introduced into Belfast
What started as an idea has become so much more than a gym. It’s a place where people become stronger, healthier, more confident, and realise they’re capable of more than they ever thought possible
Fast forward to today… we still have people sticking by us that walked through the doors (Shutters) in June 2020 which is insane to think 🤯
We have just finished another 6 week challenge setting members and challengers up for the summer ahead ☀️
Hundreds of lives transformed 🏋🏻♂️
An incredible community we’re proud to call family 🏠🧑🧑🧒🧒
Thousands of coaching sessions delivered 📈
Friendships built that will last a lifetime 🤝
To every member who has trusted us over the last six years, every coach who’s been part of the journey, and everyone who’s supported us along the way… thank you. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you
Drop us a comment of your favourite memory with us us, we would love to get a read and look back on the memories ❤️❤️

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT – Sara McGarvey 💙🏃♀️
A year ago, Sara completed her very first race – the Women’s 10K in June 2025.
⏱️ Time: 1 hour 53 minutes
Fast forward to today…
Sara joined Movement in September 2025 and committed to training consistently. She showed up, trusted the process, listened to the coaches, and kept putting one foot in front of the other.
During our Charity 5K a Day challenge, her first 5K took 50 minutes. By the end of the month, she had already brought that down to 39 minutes.
Next came the Spar Craic 10K…
⏱️ Time: 1 hour 10 minutes
The progress gave her confidence. The confidence gave her belief. And that belief led her to apply for a place in the Dublin City Marathon 2026, where she’ll be raising money for Cancer Fund for Children.
Having only started marathon training in May, Sara made a last-minute decision to enter the Lisburn Half Marathon after a conversation with Coach Reece.
“He told me he believed I could do it.”
Sometimes that’s all it takes.
When someone believes in you, encourages you, and helps you see what’s possible, it can completely change what you think you’re capable of.
Yesterday, Sara completed her first ever half marathon:
🏅 21.1km
⏱️ 2 hours 18 minutes
Let that sink in…
Just one year ago it took 1 hour 53 minutes to complete a 10K.
Now she’s running more than double the distance in only 25 minutes longer.
This is what happens when consistency beats excuses.
This is what happens when you keep showing up.
This is what happens when you stop focusing on where you are and start focusing on where you’re going.
Sara, every single coach at Movement is incredibly proud of you. The hard work, commitment and determination you’ve shown over the last year has been unbelievable.
Next stop…
🏅 Dublin City Marathon – 25.10.26
Bring it on! 💪🔥

Chatting to a few members today about how much people spend weekly on things that would push them further away from progress and not think about it but when it comes to their Health & Fitness it can make them on the fence - It got us thinking…
Would you rather…
🍕 Spend money on takeaways because you’re too tired to cook…
OR
🥗 Learn habits that give you more energy every day?
⸻
Would you rather…
💸 Spend £99 on a weekend of drinks…
OR
🏋️ Invest £99 into your health, fitness and confidence on a 21 Day kickstart
⸻
Would you rather…
😩 Feel uncomfortable in your clothes all summer…
OR
💪 Feel strong, confident and proud of what you see in the mirror?
⸻
Would you rather…
📺 Keep saying “I’ll start next week”…
OR
📈 Be 30 days ahead by starting today?
⸻
Would you rather…
🍻 Have one good night out…
OR
❤️ Improve your health for years to come?
⸻
The reality is, neither choice is right or wrong.
We all spend money on what we value most.
But if you’ve been telling yourself for months that you want to lose weight, get fitter, build confidence, improve your health or have more energy…
Maybe it’s time to start investing in yourself.
Because the best return you’ll ever get isn’t from a night out.
It’s from becoming the healthiest, happiest version of you.

🔥 FROM HIDING ON HOLIDAY… TO LIVING IT 🔥
This post isn’t just about weight loss.
It’s about confidence.
It’s about freedom.
It’s about showing up as the person you always knew you could be.
Cerys is currently on holiday and shared this with us:
💬 *“People always go ‘why are you always training, exercising, you’re obsessed’ but this is my WHY 🔑
I know what it’s like to show up on holidays hating how you look, not wanting to leave the hotel room. It is my reason to keep going.”*
That right there is powerful.
Because anyone can be motivated when results are coming quickly.
The real difference is remembering why you started when motivation fades.
Over the last number of years, Cerys has completely transformed not only her physique but her mindset. Through consistency, hard work and refusing to quit on herself, she has built habits that continue to pay off every single day.
As part of our Perform Programme, Cerys combines our SGPT sessions with hybrid-style training, developing both strength and fitness. Building a stronger engine, becoming fitter, stronger and more capable whilst continuing to push herself to new levels.
The best part?
This isn’t about looking good for one holiday.
It’s about never feeling the way she used to feel again.
We’re incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved, Cerys. Enjoy every second of that holiday—you’ve earned it. 🌴☀️💙

🚜🌾 Farmers Bash Tonight 🌾🚜
Summer Season is here. Festivals, BBQs, holidays, weddings, stag dos, nights out and weekends away are all starting to fill the calendar
The mistake most people make? 👇
They switch into an “I’ll start again after…” mindset.
A weekend turns into a week.
A week turns into a month.
And before they know it, all the momentum they’ve built is gone.
The good news? You don’t need to be perfect.
You don’t need to avoid the events.
You don’t need to skip the drinks.
You don’t need to say no to having a good time.
What you do need is STRUCTURE & we can help you with that -
Keep your training sessions booked in.
Hit your daily protein target.
Stay active between events.
Get back to your normal routine the very next day.
Focus on consistency, not perfection.
Remember, fitness isn’t built from what you do on one weekend. It’s built from what you do consistently over the other 95% of your time
Enjoy the festivals.
Enjoy the memories.
Enjoy the craic.
Just don’t let a few weekends become an excuse to lose all the progress you’ve worked hard for
Stay structured. Stay accountable. Keep moving forward💪
Drop us a message if you’d like some help

A trip down memory lane today up bisiting my old school, St Mary’s CBGS, to catch up with some former teachers and meet with the principal
We’re delighted to be supporting their upcoming South Africa project by donating memberships and Kickstarts to help raise funds for an incredible cause.l
The team will be travelling over the Halloween break, departing on the 21st of October for 10 days, where they’ll be working in partnership with the R City team as part of the Belfast to Blanco Project
