St Malachy's International Supercup

Our team helping the local community!

This week our team decided it was time to help our local community once again by donating £340 to a local food bank at the Duncairn centre in North Belfast. We believe it is very important to help those in need during such a difficult time.

This brings our total donations to charities to £1,040. We would once again like to thank everyone who helped out at our event and donated. Without you this wouldn’t be possible!

Thank you to everyone who donated money at our event to such a good cause. Today, we donated a total £700, splitting it between two mental health charities Tamhi and Lighthouse who have been with us since our tournament preparation began. Thanks again to everyone that helped!

These OUTSTANDING young gentlemen from stmalachys a few weeks back ran there own basketball tournament with teams from other country's there was also positive mental health messages posted around the event 😎 they raised £350 and donated it to our charity. These young me are credit to parents, school and there community

Congratulations to the winners of the 2020 St Malachy’s International Supercup - Cheshire Phoenix.

There was some outstanding basketball on show all weekend but Phoenix came out as winners beating Sliabh Luachra in the final to maintain their 100% record and clinch the trophy.

We’d like to thank the players from all 4 teams across the weekend. Their effort and commitment throughout the event was absolutely top notch.

Another impressive victory for Cheshire Phoenix who progress to the final after beating Killester B.C. 63-52 in an extremely competitive game.

Our big final is coming up next as Cheshire Phoenix take on Sliabh Luachra with a 1:30pm tip-off.

Congratulations to Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra who progress to the final of the St. Malachy’s International Supercup as they overcome St Malachy's College, Belfast 68 - 54. A very close game up until the fourth quarter. Well done both teams!
