Éire Lag - prospect lag of Jomsborg we are a early medieval combat and living history group based out of Ireland, With members in the northern and southern parts of the island.

We fight at events locally as well as internationally. We are apart of the army of Jomsborg as part of weststorm.

Well thats event season wrapped up for another year.
No rest for the wicked tho, next weekend 8 prospects join us for combat training and they will be starting their own shields.

We got too carried away welcoming new prospects that we almost forgot a post about Wolin.

Our Styrsman travelled over to poland to take part in the Wolin festival.
Taking part in armoured full contact battles in 38 degrees heat 🥵.
He came back with so many amazing stories that we may come in force next time 😉

2 benches made, tent poles done, axes shafted and one of our new prospects started his combat training.

Not long now until our final show of the year forged in steel in a couple of weeks time. Situated in Downpatrick, its a great day out for all the family.

Tomorrow we are lighting the coal forge for some smithing along side other crafts.
