Sharing for Helping Hands Autism Support

First fundraiser off the year, if you want to be healthy for April now is your chance.

Be sponsored £1 for every 1LB you loose. -Weekly weigh ins on a Friday or Saturday at Hanwood Gym.

-3 months free Hanwood Gym Membership

-healthy meal ideas

-be part of our ‘get fit for autism social group’ for support and ideas each day.

-fitness Classes will also be added.

First weigh in will take place either on Friday 20th or Sat 21st. Just see Norman or Chris at Hanwood to register.

This programme runs until Friday 21st April 2023 and there is a minimum sponsorship of £40 per person.

Hi All,

Come along and join us next Friday 20th January at the community centre to kickstart your new year with some heath and wellness 💪🏻

We will be hosting Chest, Heart and Stroke team who will be running blood pressure checks and also the Cancer Focus bus for checks and some advice, alongside other health and wellness services.

The Cancer Focus bus is an appointment based service, so if you would like to see them, pm the page to book a slot, there are limited spaces between 10am-3pm.

Bus pickup from Tullycarnet community centre 10am and collecting to return at 2pm.

Folks we are currently working on Community Support, in the form of food only, at the moment to be given out on Friday 20th January 2023.

There will be a criteria around this support, and this is a lot different than the social supermarket held in December. This will be offered to residents who live in Tullycarnet/Ardcarn/Abbey/Sperrin only.

This will take place as part of our annual Health Day Event with Charter NI, when you'll be able to get support around Health advice, Cancer Focus Checks, Chest Heart and Stroke and much more.

More details will follow on Monday around the criteria for this support.
