Eastside Boxing Club

We all set to go tomorrow for our exhibition day doors open at 1245 first fight around 1.15pm start £5 pay at the door we have 14 matched up for it and will have ballots, pitch & toss and refreshments available come along and support the club as we finish the season 🥊

The gym is back open tonight as normal!
Juniors 530pm-615pm
Seniors 620pm-730pm

We also having our exhibition day on Saturday doors will open at 1245pm we have 16 exhibitions from ages 7+ pitch & toss ballot etc we hope to see plenty of support for those competing on Saturday 🥊🥊

The gym will be CLOSED tonight with all the protests etc going on people travelling to and from the club it’s best to close for everyone’s safety and that and hopefully be open as normal tomorrow and Saturday with the exhibition day 🥊

Lots of messages in regards to whether or not the gym will be open tonight, it will be OPEN as normal as we prepare for our show this Saturday.

2 weeks today until our show in the club to finish the lads off for the summer. I have still got a few to match but near enough sorted. We hope to see plenty of family and friends attending to support with some of them making there first step through the ropes in an exhibition. We had 2 entered the County Antrim seniors this week.

First up we had John Morrow at 75kg who competed in his first contest on Tuesday evening although he lost out on a points decision John will learn loads from this as we look forward 🥊

Next up we had Lewis Carson at 80kg who got a straight final boxed last night against a tough boy from saints but Lewis prevailed taking it on points in a very good contest.

Well done to both boys 🥊

We are running a end of season day in the gym on Saturday 13th June with a start of 1pm to finish us off for the season. We will have ballots and pitchy also. We look forward to the fighters showcasing there skills and hope to see a good turnout. £5er entry 🥊🥊
