🛣️ 🚗 Our Knights won the shield at the Girls North West Cup yesterday! 🏆

They made an early morning journey up the Glenshane Pass to play in a tournament against many teams they had not played against before!

They took a few games to adjust to playing 7 aside, but went through the day scoring lots of goals and only conceding 2!

The girls took on Mid Ulster in the final and put in and excellent performance!

Special mention to Grace who played her first game(s) for the club! 👏

🏆 Player of the Month – Zara 🏆

A huge congratulations to Zara, our 🔴 Player of the Month!

Zara has been performing at a consistently high level for several months, but over the last month she has taken her game to another level. Her hard work and dedication on the training pitch are clearly paying off, with noticeable improvements across every aspect of her game.

⚽ Winning more duels
⚽ Showing greater strength and determination
⚽ Passing with confidence and quality
⚽ Driving forward with excellent dribbling
⚽ Scoring important goals

Her performances have been outstanding, and she continues to set a fantastic example through her attitude, effort, and willingness to improve.

To top off an excellent period, Zara was also named Player of the Tournament for the Red Team at the ESF Bognor Regis Tournament—a well-deserved recognition of the impact she made throughout the competition. She also had success with her primary school team, winning a cup playing against P7 girls.

We’re incredibly proud of the progress Zara has made and look forward to seeing her continue to grow and succeed.

Congratulations to Faith, our well-deserved ⚫️ Player of the Month!

Faith has been incredibly consistent throughout the month and has shown what it means to be a true team player. Whether playing in her usual position or stepping in wherever the team needs her—including spending time in goal—she always gives 100% and puts the team first.

⚽ Willingly plays in multiple positions
⚽ Shows great commitment and determination
⚽ Brilliant dribbling ability and confidence on the ball
⚽ Scored some fantastic goals this month

Faith’s positive attitude, versatility, and work ethic have been a huge asset to the team. She never stops working, always looks to make an impact, and consistently performs at a high level.

She also enjoyed a very strong ESF Bognor Regis Tournament, where her performances helped the team and highlighted the qualities she has shown all month long.

Faith’s commitment, consistency, and willingness to do whatever is needed for the team make her a fantastic example to her teammates.

One of our 2017s LIONS Talia played in the P6/P7 schools cup today organised by the Belfast Model School for Girls . ⚽️

A tough group stage to start but making it to the semi finals and coming second in the plate.

🦁 Tournament Winners 🏆

Well done to our 2 Lions teams today at the Crumlin United Tournament both teams progressed through the group stages and semi finals without even conceding a goal!

Our teams played each other in a very entertaining, close final! Regardless of the winner, the girls shared the trophy and all went home as winners 🤩🤩 🦁

Another weekend another tournament for our Stars ⭐️

The girls headed to Kilrea this weekend to take part in an all boys tournament. ⚽️☀️
Competitive games against Kilrea, Ballycastle, Maghera and Portstewart in their group - the girls showing great team spirit, determination and superb workrate to earn a well deserved place in the Shield Final.

They saved their best performance to last, a blistering display with 4 of their goals coming from top goalscorer Farrah 🙌🏼 seeing them the Shield winners 🏆⭐️⚽️

Player of the tournament for the Stars was given to Annie for her bravery throughout and fantastic performance when in nets!

Well done Stars ❤️🖤

Our Jets 🛩️ squad at Derriaghy 2016 Boys tournament. The girls were super, playing good football and competing brilliantly against the bigger boys, each team reaching their respective finals

⚫️ lost out on penalties after a 1-1 draw

Our Bulls 🐮 at their tournament on Saturday!! The girls competed well against older girls scoring lots of goals in the group but were narrowing defeated 1-0 in the semi final, The girls had lots of fun team bonding!! 🔴⚫️🙌 👏🏻
