🏏 BISC IV dominates with a resounding 121-run win over Muckamore V in the NCU Junior League! 🏆
After posting a mammoth total of 259/6 in their 30 overs, the bowling attack backed it up brilliantly to bowl the opposition out for 138. A huge round of applause to our standout MVPs of the match:
⭐ Mayur: Set the foundation with a spectacular, explosive innings of 78 off just 43 balls!
⭐ Raj: Ripped through the batting lineup with a stunning bowling spell, taking 3 wickets for just 18 runs (including a maiden) in 4.4 overs!
⭐ Hari: Provided the perfect finishing fireworks with a blazing, unbeaten 32* off only 19 deliveries!

🔥 Anand and Hemanth provided the perfect start with a 50-run opening partnership, maintaining an excellent run rate in the early overs. Mayur then played a match-defining innings of 78 from just 43 balls, including 6 sixes and 3 fours. Hari added a brilliant finishing touch with 32 from 19 balls, while Nithin and Ashwin contributed valuable late runs, with Ashwin striking a crucial six. We finished strongly on 259/6 in 30 overs.

🎯 With the ball, Raj delivered an exceptional spell, taking 3 early wickets and conceding only 18 runs in 4.4 overs. Prasad, Arish, and Nithin bowled with great control and discipline, while Anuj claimed an impressive 3 wickets.

👏 Our fielding was equally outstanding, with excellent efforts from Nithin and Ashwin and superb catches taken by Mayur, Raj and Nithin.

🏏 BISC III secures a hard-fought 13-run victory against North Down III in the NCU Junior League! 🏆
Defending a massive total of 239, the boys held their nerve to restrict the opposition to 226/9 at the end of their 30 overs. A massive shoutout to our MVPs for their outstanding match-winning performances:
⭐ Praveen: A sensational all-round display! Scored a vital 37 (39) with the bat and led the bowling attack with 3 wickets for 30 runs in his 6 overs!
⭐ Nithin: Contributed heavily across the board, remaining unbeaten on a quick 24* (26) and picking up a crucial wicket (1-37)!
⭐ Gopal: Kept things tight under immense pressure, delivering a brilliant, economical spell to take 1 wicket for just 26 runs in his 5 overs!

Following the great start, Praveen Jaypal and Nithin kept the momentum shifting in our favor with an amazing partnership, maintaining a high run rate right until the very end.
🔥 The Bowling & Fielding:
Our bowlers turned up the heat! Gopal, Samrat, and Nithin bowled fantastic, aggressive deliveries to rattle the opposition. Meanwhile, Poorna and Jaypal choked the scoring with superb, controlled bowling to keep the run rate firmly under wraps.
The bowling was backed up by electric fielding, with Faizan and Nithin leading the charge and saving crucial runs.

🏏 BISC MW cruises to a fantastic 6-wicket victory over Carrickfergus MV in the NCU Junior League! 🏆

Skipper Anand said it best:

It was a fantastic result for our team today. We executed our game plan perfectly, keeping the pressure on from the very first ball and chasing down the target with confidence.

Bowling Performance
We restricted Carrickfergus MW XI to a modest total of 126/9. I am incredibly proud of how our bowling attack handled the pressure.

Standout Performance: Rakeeb bhai was simply outstanding, leading the charge with a brilliant spell of 4/11 from his 4 overs, including a maiden. Rakeeb Ahmed

Arish also provided crucial control, picking up a wicket and conceding only 7 runs in his 2 overs well supported by other bowlers.

The Chase
Chasing 127, our approach was calm and clinical. We reached the target of 127/4 in just 14.2 overs, securing a 6-wicket victory.

Key Contributions: Anand and Hemanth lead from the front with 33 (22)* and 22(14), later Faizan and Prabeen ensured we stayed ahead of the required rate throughout the chase.

We’re incredibly proud of BISC III! 🏏

While it wasn’t the final result we hoped for, the team fought like absolute champions. It was incredibly frustrating to see twice the match couldn’t be completed due to uncontrollable circumstances, especially when BISC III had the upper hand and a strong chance of victory.

Regardless of the official outcome, the team played some excellent cricket today and showed tremendous spirit. Keep your heads held high! 👏💪

Not the result we wanted, we ended up on the losing side.

Even though we didn’t start well with the bat, Mayur played a blistering knock, dealing in sixes and scoring a quick 74. Alongside him, Gopal played a valuable innings of 24, and Jivan batted really well towards the end.

An excellent opening spell by Jivan and Samrat kept the run rate under control. Chetan and Gopal bowled well in the middle and at the death, while our spinners, Poorna and Vinod Bhai, bowled with fire and kept the batsmen under pressure.

Fielding is something this team has always lacked, and yet again in this match we dropped catches and made a few mistakes on the field. Those extra 5–10 runs could have been crucial and might have put us on the winning side.

Still, it was a good team effort, guys. We learn, improve, and come back stronger 💪

As usual, Anand and Mahendra provided a solid start at the top with excellent batting. Superb half-centuries from Hemanth and Mayur gave us the momentum we needed, while Arish and Manju finished strongly with valuable late runs. The team posted an impressive total of 210 in 25 overs.

Chetan made an immediate impact by taking 3 crucial wickets early on. Excellent bowling spells from Hemanth, Raj, and Arish kept the opposition under pressure throughout the innings.

Special mention to Kallol for some outstanding fielding and catches, along with sharp fielding efforts from Manju and Prasad that lifted the entire team’s energy.

Another absolute thriller! 🏏 BISC I pulls off a dramatic 1-wicket win over Dunmurry I in the NCU Mercury Senior League! 🏆

A massive round of applause for our MVPs who made all the difference:
⭐ Sudeep : Powered the innings with a crucial, quickfire 25 (16)
⭐ Virat: A phenomenal all-round display! Smashed 15 (10) with the bat and delivered a devastating bowling spell, taking 4 wickets for just 7 runs!
⭐ Adarsh: Showed incredible grit at the crease with 9 (49) to anchor the innings and took a vital wicket (1 for 21).

What a game against Dunmurry today! 💪

Dunmurry won the toss and elected to bat first, but that decision quickly looked like it played into our hands. Viswa and Adarsh gave us the perfect start with identical bowling figures — 7 overs, 1 maiden, 21 runs conceded, and 1 wicket each. Their disciplined opening spell immediately put pressure on the opposition.

Manish and Prabeen followed up brilliantly, maintaining tight lines and never allowing the batters any room to settle. Then came the game changing spell from Daya and Virat, who completely dismantled the batting lineup.

🔥 Virat: 5 overs, 2 maidens, just 7 runs conceded, and 4 wickets

An outstanding bowling performance saw Dunmurry bundled out for just 111 runs.

The chase, however, was far from easy. We started steadily, but as expected, the pitch proved extremely difficult for batting and a few wickets fell in quick succession. Sudeep played a crucial role in holding the innings together on a challenging surface and looked in complete control before an unfortunate dismissal, with the ball rolling back onto the stumps after hitting the pad.

But then came the defining moment of the match — Viswa and Adarsh stood firm like rocks under pressure. They showed incredible composure, determination, and belief, refusing to give up until they guided us home.

Honestly, this was better than watching an international Test match.. what a performance, what a fight, and what a win for the team! 👏🏏
