Been fairly quiet on here this year.

That was intentional.

Being glued to our phones isn’t great for anyone šŸ“µ

Hard to tell what’s real these days.

AI generated photos and videos.

Posts written by chat bots.

Not really my thing, but each to their own.

Feels like there’s a shift happening.

Less time on the apps. More being present.

Still here. Still doing the work šŸ’ŖšŸ¼

Keep showing up.

A year of ups and downs. That’s life.

Here’s a few things I’ve learned along the way šŸ‘‡

1ļøāƒ£ Health and time
Two of the most valuable things you’ll ever have.
Look after your health, it’ll buy you more time.

2ļøāƒ£ Stop caring what people think
You’ll get criticism no matter what you do, good or bad. Crack on.

3ļøāƒ£ Raise your standards
If you’re still doing the same things you were five or ten years ago, it’s time for a rethink.
Progress needs change, personally and professionally.

4ļøāƒ£ Support others
If someone’s trying to improve, back them.
Help when you can, chances are you’ll need it yourself someday.

5ļøāƒ£ Think for yourself
Stop looking for validation from strangers online.
Do your thing, have a laugh and let people talk.

If you’ve made it this far, have a great Christmas and make the most of it šŸŽ„

With 2024 nearly wrapped up, it’s a good time to look back.

What worked and what didn’t.

If you hit your goals – happy days.

If you fell short, don’t beat yourself up. Reset, refocus, rechargeāš”ļø

Ask yourself: were you following any sort of structure this year?

If not, that’s something to sort heading into 2025 šŸŽÆ

Even with a plan, were you consistent with sleep, cardio, nutrition and recovery?

You’ll know yourself.

Loads of ā€˜survival guides’ are popping up, almost sending people into panic mode.

Worried that Christmas will undo all your hard work..

If you’ve been training hard all year, a few days off-plan is well deserved.

We can’t control the weather, but we can adapt.

It’s easy to ease off this time of year, but imagine how much further ahead you’ll be if you don’t.
