Huge congratulations to Captain Kay Gilbert and her incredible team who won the Cowdy Cup in a dominant performance against Warrenpoint GC at Lurgan on Sunday.

The team: Claire Canning, Susan Butterwick, Olivia Moore, Sarah McCrea, Sophie Cousins and Ann Brown.

Another couple of pendants to add to the collection 😎. The ladies intermediate foursomes and the Irish mixed 4ball, captained by Caroline Jones, Stephen Brown & Alison Bell, respectively won their Ulster North sections and have laid great foundations to build on next season ⛳️🏌🏼‍♂️🏌🏼‍♀️

Huge congratulations to our star player, Eva Branks, who won the AIG Irish Women’s Close Over-18 Plate - Finals. After an epic battle, Eva came out on top, winning on the 2nd tie hole having previously been down in the match. With an incredible technique, work ethic and extremely mature mindset, we can be sure there will be a lot more silverware coming Eva’s way ⛳️🏌🏼‍♀️🏆

We’re looking forward to hosting the R&A Student Tour Series qualifying event from 7th - 9th October 👍

The R&A The R&A seeks to engage in and support activities for the benefit of the sport of golf from The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews.

Huge congratulations to our two warriors, Louise Coffey and Oonagh McClure, who last week won the Interpros for Ulster. Louise as a player and Oonagh who captained the team to victory. Outstanding job ladies and everyone at Malone is incredibly proud of you ⛳️🏌🏼‍♀️👌🏼

Today we celebrate Norma’s Captains day. Weather smashing, course absolutely incredible and the golfing outfits are stunning. Looking forward to see tonight’s fashion and all the prize winners ⛳️🏌🏼‍♀️

Current employment opportunities available at Malone Golf Club:-

(1) Deputy Head Greenkeeper

Our current Deputy has chosen to step back from his management role as he approaches retirement. We are now seeking candidates for the role.

Base salary will be circa £40K per annum, plus 6% employer pension contribution.

Applications are invited for this exciting role from current deputies or experienced greenkeepers aspiring to step up to the next level and help provide additional management input as part of an established team of 13 here at Malone GC.

(2) Experienced Greenkeeper

39 hours per week @ £14ph, with expected overtime on a Sat/Sun every third weekend.
