Stoke City Football Club Development Centres and Soccer Schools throughout Ireland.
Stoke City Football Club are in the process of establishing numerous Development Centres across NI & ROI. The Irish based Centres will comprise of two separate streams, being our Junior Soccer Schools from the ages of 4 years old through to 12, and Elite Sections from 13 to 16 year olds. Our Soccer Schools will be the feeder stream to the Elite Development Section, and both systems will be on invi
te only basis for players who have been identified by our scouting network. On graduation to the Elite Section, players will be fine tuned technically, physically, and mentally in preparation for trial with the main club in England. From the younger ages the players will be provided with the highest quality coaching in order to guide them towards the Elite ranks. Attendance at the Development Centres will not prohibit the player from domestic club, or international squad duties. As an internationally recognised brand we also believe we have a very important role to play, not just in the development of players, but with the on-going issues of social interaction, cross-community efforts, ethnic inclusion, and general fun & fitness for all children in the community. Our community soccer camps during school holiday periods will provide a platform for children of all abilities and backgrounds to come together and enjoy the beautiful game in a safe and welcoming environment. It is also hoped that our presence in Ireland will help to increase the awareness of the Stoke City FC brand and perhaps spring a new generation of Irish based fans.
