Victor Inter County Finals Senior & Juvenile 2026🏸

Well done to the Donegal teams who participated in the All Ireland Inter County Finals in both the Senior & Juvenile events at Galway University, 15th & 16th May.

Donegal Grade B team had a great competition winning the Grade B Title with a 6-3 win over Meath B.

Some strong & competitive performances in Grade F and the U13, U15 & U17 events & great experience for all the teams.

Victor Irish Graded Finals 2026 🏸

Congrats to all the players who competed at the Finals day of the Irish Graded Finals held at the National Indoor Arena, Dublin on Saturday 9th May. Fantastic to have 12 player progressing to this stage through reaching the Final of their respective National Graded Event earlier in the season.

It was a great day for Ulster winning 5 Titles and 4 Runner up positions!

“The Trust inspires me to believe anything is possible – as long as I believe in myself,” says Alpha badminton and Irish Senior player Matthew Cheung.

Being a Mary Peters Trust athlete means a lot to 21-year-old UCD student Matthew Cheung from Lisburn.

The Trust has supported the Alpha Badminton player since 2019 with several funding awards which have helped him travel to tournaments worldwide, improving his game and increasing his rankings.

Matthew is enjoying a strong start to 2026 having already clinched the Men’s Singles title in this year’s Irish Senior Nationals and is aiming for even more accolades during the rest of the year.

🏸 The Victor Irish Masters Open 2026 took place this past weekend in the Baldoyle Badminton Centre in Dublin. It ran across 3 days and a number of Ulster players travelled down to take part coming away with 18 titles and 50 medals overall.
