Our Seconds signed off in style with a 5-1 win over Antrim Rovers Reserves yesterday at Cairnshill. A brilliant result and the perfect send-off for Daniel McKnight’s final game in charge 👏

Our First Team defeated 4th Newtownabbey 2–1 yesterday at Nortel to round off the campaign.

Today marked Jacob Pollock’s final game in charge of our second team, and what a way to finish, with a brilliant 3-1 win over 4th Newtownabbey 11’s.

Since coming into management three ago, Jacob has been a huge influence on the seconds. His passion, energy, and commitment have inspired the squad from day one. Whether it was bringing the VIBES at training, delivering passionate team talks, or pulling off what can only be described as “Pep” tactical masterclasses, he always gave everything for the team.

We’re still not sure whether the nickname came from the tactics or the hairstyle… but “Pep” definitely stuck!

On behalf of everyone at the club, thank you Jacob for everything you’ve done for the second team.

And Danny… we’re sure you’ll miss being his assistant…or maybe not! 👀
