Both Rachel and Barry studied periodontics in Minnesota, USA, then returned to Ireland, where they set up the Number16 specialist clinic, in 2010.⁣

We have submitted the 2026 Borderlands event to Cycling Ireland today. Some exciting changes for 2026. We are going Cycling Ireland, having teamed up with Lakeland cycling club. We hope to run a 100k route; we have added a gravel climb and then a descent on back roads loop to the event. We have also gone with a 55k which is essentially the 65k with a few climbs by-passed so all marshals are deployed around the aame route. Prospective dates are 8th August primary date, with 22 August alternate date. Hopefully the Coillte process will be swift, allowing us to get the risk assessment thru after that.
In the meantime for those of you who are debating taking out a CI licence, with more gravel events going CI then it may be beneficial to take out a year long licence versus taking out a day licence.

Just to be aware Ballintempo and Carrigan Forests are hosting a Motor Rally - The Lakeland Stages Rally - Tomorrow Saturday 6th September and those two forests will be closed to facilitate the event from 06:00 to 20:00.

All been asked to publicise this from Finn Valley Wheelers - their road sportive which comes into Fermanagh. 135K and 62K options. August 31st. --enjoy.
