It’s been a wild few days…
I live and breathe every single day and I still struggle to explain what it is…

Everyone’s like - can’t believe you’re working, training and cooking while you’re away. And no one’s like - can’t believe you have beers in the airport at 5am, eat your body weight in pain au chocolat everyday and the fastest you move is to put your towel on a sun lounger in the morning 🐸☕️
When I tell you that nothing like this exists, trust me. I have checked.
We Hack Health, to me, is beyond just ‘community’.
It’s a movement that is built from within the cybersecurity and tech world for those specific industries with the goal to improve the quality and the standard of health across the board.
It’s a shared mission with people who are living and breathing examples of what can be done when you start to prioritise your own health, not necessarily just about that individual, but their contribution to the entire movement across the board.
Understanding that the impact that we have of doing it for ourselves has on the people around us to ensure that they have every opportunity to improve the quality of their life.
DEFCON is the biggest cybersecurity conference in the world.
30,000+ hackers gather in Las Vegas in August every single year.
You will walk 30 miles across three days and temperatures will be well over 100 degrees.
You will be dehydrated. You will be under-slept, under-recovered, overstimulated.
It’s the endurance sport in cybersecurity that no one is training for, but this year we are giving you the opportunity to train like an athlete for what I would like to consider the Cybersecurity Olympics.
Check us out at wehackhealth.com.
I will see you in the desert.

Rules for travel
1. Prioritise protein, front load at breakfast
2. Understand the days you’re going to over consume and adjust accordingly
3. Stay hydrated
You may also just want to take a week off - and that’s ok. Just remember the more of a di****ad you are when you are away the more difficult you’ll make it for yourself coming back
DefCon, in my eyes - is the hacking endurance sport that no one is training for.
The moment you walk off the plane you’re greeted with a heat that resembles only the feeling of opening the oven to check on your lasagna.
You expect your body to 10x its step target with no training.
You’re balls deep in malicious code and margaritas, surviving on 3 hours sleep and expected to run at 100% capacity for the full conference.
This year, we demand more.
