Division 2

Belmont B 7 points (92 shots) Vs Ewarts A 0 points (57 shots)

Ewarts A came up against a Belmont B team who were in good form. Despite the overall score, there were some good performances by Ewarts. With 4 ends left there were 3 Ewarts rinks up, but unfortunately they were all unable to hang on to their lead, and narrowly lost. Ewarts now sit 3rd bottom in the league, with only 5 points separating bottom and 7th place.

Division 4

Ewarts B 2 points (63 shots) Vs Ulster Transport C 5 points (65 shots)

This was an extremely close match and the 2 teams were separated by just 2 shots. The Ewarts rink of Richard Bell played superbly and won their point. The rinks of Tommy Holland and Davy Smyth played well and drew their games, both earning half a point each. This was a great all round performance by the team who seem to be improving by the week.

Belmont B vs Ewarts A – Belmont B are sitting 1 point behind league leaders Falls A and have been in good form this season. Ewarts are showing some signs of improvement but need to start picking up points soon, otherwise they could get drawn into a relegation battle.

Division 4

Ewarts B vs Ulster Transport C – Ewarts B haven’t got off to a great start this season but have started to pick up some points recently. This week’s team looks strong, with a few old faces back available to play. Can they get the first win of the season?
