We are looking forward to welcoming the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann to Belfast for the first time in history from Sunday 2nd August to Sunday 9th August 2026.

This massive celebration of Irish traditional music will feature headline concerts at the Waterfront Hall and Ulster Hall, spontaneous street sessions and prestigious All-Ireland competitions.

As a result, a number of road closures and parking restrictions will be in place throughout the week. If you are planning on visiting The Merchant Gym please check the published road closure information here before travelling and allow extra time for your journey.
