Please pay attention if your focus is to see results from the gym!

1. Get clear on what it is you want to look and feel like

โ€œI want to lose 2 stoneโ€ is a w**k statement and youโ€™ll forget all about it when things get tough

2. Donโ€™t make drastic changes to start off with

Think about little things you can start doing not what you need to stop doing

๐Ÿ† Little more exercise

๐Ÿ† Little more steps

๐Ÿ† Little more protein

๐Ÿ† Little more sleep

This is called win stacking and it kick starts the lifestyle changes youโ€™ll have to go through in the future ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

Do you ever find yourself spending countless hours in the gym with little to show for it?

It can be very frustrating I know! ๐Ÿ˜…

This is something that I see a lot, especially those who are new to the whole fat loss and muscle building craic

As much as putting in the work is very important, recovery is equally as important and is a key component to progress ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

If this sounds familiar please remember the basics work โ˜บ๏ธ

When you lift weights you make small tears in the muscle ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ

When you rest/sleep your body repairs these tears with more muscle

If you donโ€™t give your body a chance to do this it will result in little progress and a lot of confusion ๐Ÿคท

5 years go! Another blast from the past back at it again ๐Ÿ†

5 years ago we did a 16 week transformation that was broken into 11 weeks of gaining size and 5 weeks of leaning out for moving to America ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

I love to see my clients go off and smash it at life and thatโ€™s exactly what this man did!

Back on the grind now for another 12 weeks and only 1 week into plan he is off to a flying start ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Great to have you back on board my man canโ€™t wait to see the damage youโ€™ll do this summer ๐Ÿ˜โ˜€๏ธ

Same t-shirt different man

The last 9 weeks we have focused on training hard 3 times per week and getting more steps in ๐Ÿ˜

Only in the last 5 week have we looked at tracking calories but mainly making healthier food choices whilst cutting back on binging ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ

One thing that stands out for me with this man is that he has always been honest with strengths and weakness

Strengths being he loves to train ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ

Explaining in detail where he struggles most and being honest with slip ups

Which has been a massive benefit when it comes to finding a solution that he can stick too instead of feeding me bull ๐Ÿ’ฉ

Really impressed with how far youโ€™ve come my friend and canโ€™t wait to see what another 9 weeks of work will do ๐Ÿ’š

2 weeks in with 2 weeks to go โ˜€๏ธ

Changes to plan from today will be starting to track carbs and protein

Run my carbs low during the day and have more carbs in the evening

Every 3rd to 4th day have a big carb meal
My favourite being spicy wedges and burgers ๐Ÿ”

Cardio will be going for a longer walk in the evenings ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ

Sessions are still an upper/lower split ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ

Fat loss is simple when you want it to be ๐Ÿ˜

progress update!

When we first starting chatting about putting a game plan together Lauren made it clear that she wanted this to be a gradual transition to healthier lifestyle ๐Ÿ’š

So we kept things simple and started with 3-4 home workouts per week and some walks ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ

Now weโ€™ve gained some momentum with that we started count calories with a protein target everyday ๐Ÿ“”

Things have been pretty flexible but the changes have been very consistent and itโ€™s paying off ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ

Lauren has dropped 14 pounds in body fat and itโ€™s been a consistent drop at that

A take home from her progress is that if it comes off very steady and gradually then the chances of it staying off long term are high ๐Ÿ˜

Thereโ€™s nothing wrong with fast fat loss at all and I personally love it but itโ€™s important to remember that it will take a lot of dedication to maintain that long term ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ
