Please pay attention if your focus is to see results from the gym!
1. Get clear on what it is you want to look and feel like
โI want to lose 2 stoneโ is a w**k statement and youโll forget all about it when things get tough
2. Donโt make drastic changes to start off with
Think about little things you can start doing not what you need to stop doing
๐ Little more exercise
๐ Little more steps
๐ Little more protein
๐ Little more sleep
This is called win stacking and it kick starts the lifestyle changes youโll have to go through in the future ๐๐ฝ

Do you ever find yourself spending countless hours in the gym with little to show for it?
It can be very frustrating I know! ๐
This is something that I see a lot, especially those who are new to the whole fat loss and muscle building craic
As much as putting in the work is very important, recovery is equally as important and is a key component to progress ๐๐ฝ
If this sounds familiar please remember the basics work โบ๏ธ
When you lift weights you make small tears in the muscle ๐ช๐ฝ
When you rest/sleep your body repairs these tears with more muscle
If you donโt give your body a chance to do this it will result in little progress and a lot of confusion ๐คท

5 years go! Another blast from the past back at it again ๐
5 years ago we did a 16 week transformation that was broken into 11 weeks of gaining size and 5 weeks of leaning out for moving to America ๐บ๐ธ
I love to see my clients go off and smash it at life and thatโs exactly what this man did!
Back on the grind now for another 12 weeks and only 1 week into plan he is off to a flying start ๐ฅ
Great to have you back on board my man canโt wait to see the damage youโll do this summer ๐โ๏ธ

9 weeks progress
Same t-shirt different man
The last 9 weeks we have focused on training hard 3 times per week and getting more steps in ๐
Only in the last 5 week have we looked at tracking calories but mainly making healthier food choices whilst cutting back on binging ๐๐ฝ
One thing that stands out for me with this man is that he has always been honest with strengths and weakness
Strengths being he loves to train ๐ช๐ฝ
Explaining in detail where he struggles most and being honest with slip ups
Which has been a massive benefit when it comes to finding a solution that he can stick too instead of feeding me bull ๐ฉ
Really impressed with how far youโve come my friend and canโt wait to see what another 9 weeks of work will do ๐

2 weeks in with 2 weeks to go โ๏ธ
Changes to plan from today will be starting to track carbs and protein
Run my carbs low during the day and have more carbs in the evening
Every 3rd to 4th day have a big carb meal
My favourite being spicy wedges and burgers ๐
Cardio will be going for a longer walk in the evenings ๐๐ฝ
Sessions are still an upper/lower split ๐ช๐ฝ
Fat loss is simple when you want it to be ๐

progress update!
When we first starting chatting about putting a game plan together Lauren made it clear that she wanted this to be a gradual transition to healthier lifestyle ๐
So we kept things simple and started with 3-4 home workouts per week and some walks ๐ช๐ฝ
Now weโve gained some momentum with that we started count calories with a protein target everyday ๐
Things have been pretty flexible but the changes have been very consistent and itโs paying off ๐๐ฝ
Lauren has dropped 14 pounds in body fat and itโs been a consistent drop at that
A take home from her progress is that if it comes off very steady and gradually then the chances of it staying off long term are high ๐
Thereโs nothing wrong with fast fat loss at all and I personally love it but itโs important to remember that it will take a lot of dedication to maintain that long term ๐๐ฝ
Very proud of you misses and looking forward to seeing your progress by the end of the summer โ๏ธ
