The UKC team represented N Ireland at the IKU World Karate Championships in Caorle near Venice last weekend and came home with 2 gold, 7 silver and 22 bronze medals. UKA competitors won:

Joshua McConaghy, Dromore: 1 silver, 2 bronze
Olivia Fry, Antrim: 1 silver, 1 bronze
Courtney Haslem, Dromore: 1 silver, 1 bronze
Tyler Mayne, Dromore: 1 silver, 1 bronze
Lucy Ouldfield, Newtownards: 2 bronze
Gerard McLean, Antrim: 2 bronze

A tremendous performance by the competitors, Liam Haslem the team manager and all the coaching staff.
