💙🌀 Tai Chi & Blood Pressure — Especially for ADHD Folks! 🌀💙
Did you know some ADHD meds can raise your blood pressure a bit?
That’s why gentle movement like Tai Chi can be such a great balance — it helps calm the nervous system, improve circulation, and bring those BP levels down naturally.
No pressure (pun intended 😅) — just slow breathing, soft focus, and a few minutes of mindful movement can make a difference.
✨ ND-friendly tip: You don’t need perfection or long sessions. Even 5 minutes counts!
Your heart — and your brain — will thank you. ❤️

✨ Word of the Week: Qi (氣)
🌀 Literal meaning: “Life energy” or “vital breath.”
💾 Geek translation: Your daily energy meter — also known as spoons.
🌿 Meaning: Qi is what keeps you moving, thinking, and feeling balanced. Some days your Qi (or spoons) are full, other days they’re running low. Tai Chi helps you recharge and spend your energy more wisely — not by doing more, but by doing gently.

☯️ Word of the Week: Yin & Yang (陰陽)
🌀 Literal meaning: “Shadow and light.”
💾 Geek translation: The universe’s dynamic duo — balance mode always on.
🌿 Meaning: Yin and Yang aren’t opposites; they’re two sides of the same rhythm. Rest gives rise to movement, effort softens into ease. Tai Chi helps us find that balance in motion and in life.

🥋 Word of the Week: Tai Chi (太極)
🌀 Literal meaning: “Supreme Ultimate.”
💾 Geek translation: The final boss of calm.
🌿 Meaning: Tai Chi refers to the great balancing act between yin and yang — like a giant cosmic see-saw, always moving, never stuck at one end. Every push has a pull, every rise has a return. Practising Tai Chi is learning to ride that balance instead of fighting it.

🧠💥 Sitting still isn’t everyone’s idea of relaxation.
If you’re neurodivergent, “just empty your mind” can feel less zen and more existential crisis with leg cramps. 😅
That’s why we do Tai Chi — meditation for people who fidget, think too much, or get the ick from silence.
You still get the calm… you just get to move while you do it. 🌀
🕗 Thursdays 8pm
📍 The Little Yoga House
✨ Neurodivergent-friendly, judgment-free, and absolutely no sitting still required.
Come sway, breathe, and call it enlightenment. 😉
