Great article on the dangers of therapy speak, and our ever human need for clear language and communication.
‘That’s triggering!’ Is therapy-speak changing the way we talk about ourselves?
Terms like ‘triggered’, ‘toxic’ and ‘narcissist’ are now bandied about in daily conversations. Is this mere psychobabble or are they useful tools in a complicated world?

Love this guy, Gabor Mate, Canadian physician. So worth listening to, especially for how he acknowledges his own need for help, and gets help, as well as the eco-politics beyond individual change into collective and systems change.

Looking forward to speak at this exciting zoom seminar tomorrow, sunday, at 5pm. Hope and trust you might consider joining if you're available and curious or even passionate about the power of story to contribute to wellbeing, individually and collectively, as well as in leadership. I intend to read the story to my grandson, Dear Rowan, written during covid lockdown in April, with Women Aloud NI, dedicated to all our children as we stand with them to prevent further damage to the earth and other social injustices by healing our own traumas and shifting towards a sustainable way of being and doing regenerative economics and culture.
Join us this Sunday for the fifth entry in our seven-part story series. "The Power of Story: Uncovering What it Means to be a Well Society." Registration for the event is still open, and we hope to see you Sunday at 5 p.m. BST/4 p.m. GMT/12 p.m. EST, when we will share in the stories of three more international speakers, as they open themselves up in a conscious and vulnerable dialogue about Empowered Leadership.

Oooh, I love Esther Perel's work on intimacy, eroticism, desire and coming home
to ourselves. What turns you on and what turns you off? Extending erotic intelligence
and imagination to a wide range of areas will transform our lives, our relationship
with ourselves, with others, and with the earth.

We carry the responsibility of our desire. Why? Because desire is an expression of our free will. Nobody can force us to want. So if it is ours, then it is also our responsibility to activate it. Freedom always comes with responsibility. We can turn ourselves on and we can turn ourselves off. We can...
