MCB Rowing has made history by becoming the first school in Northern Ireland to win the Irish Schools’ Cup at the recent Schools' Regatta in Limerick! 🏆
Methodist College competed against crews from 51 schools but dominated the regatta, winning 7 events to be crowned champions and win the Victor Ludorum Trophy.
Congratulations, we are so proud of all the hard work and dedication from all involved.

MCB Rowing Club had a surprise visitor to the Boathouse!
Harry McMahon, Master in Charge of Rowing from the early 1950's called in to meet the rowers. Harry went out in the coaching launch with Mr Marron and saw the crews in action. He is delighted that MCB Rowing is so strong and wishes all the rowers well for the year ahead!

On Saturday we had 10 crews competing at the Dublin Met Regatta.
It was a huge success and great fun!
Many thanks to our volunteer coaches and the parents who travelled and helped.

MCB dominated the races on Saturday , getting full houses at boys junior 14, 15 & 16 and almost full houses at girls junior 15 & 16.
MCB also dominated in boys and girls Octos.
We got bonus wins in M club 2 1X and MJ18B 4X+.
... and a special mention to Harry for FASTEST Man's Single.
Well done you you all, this is a great accomplishment
