Dublin Business School
beat 138-5 in 9.4 overs
Technological University Dublin 134-5 in 10 overs.
DBS win with 1 ball to spare.
For a side that lost all their matches last year DBS played 7 and won 7 to claim their first ever Indoor inter-varsity against fellow virgin finalists TUD.
The big guns of the indoor game NUIG and UU were knocked out at the group stage having been outplayed by the semi-finalists and finalists who produced some outstanding performances to reach the final stages.
In one of the tightest tournaments ever few gave DBS a chance of catching the TUD score but they stuck to thier task and batted with passion and intelligence to bring home the cup.
The competition was excellently hosted by UU and once again thanks goes to the staff at Jordanstown Sports-centre and to Callum Atkinson for a job very well done.
