Mixed day of results today at the Mid Ulster Novice Championships. First up we had Mason D who gave his all in a close contest, just coming out on the wrong side of a split decision. Next up was Logan in his first contest took a round to settle but he went on to claim the title by unanimous decision. Last up for us was Eoghan who boxed brillantly in the first 2 rounds but unfortunately the contest was stopped by the doctor in the 3rd due to a nose bleed. Unlucky Eoghan. All three lads gave their all and as a club that's all we can ask for👏👏

We had three champions by way of walkover. Mason W, Jacob and Ashtin

Wasn't to be for WJ at the weekend. But Gained a bronze medal at the prestigious Eindhoven Box Cup . Great experience for WJ as he heads into 8 weeks of intense training at Ulster Boxing Council high performance. The commonwealth games is the main priority . We wish him all the best . JP Hale & Willie John Mc Cartan are through the ropes today in the semi finals of the Eindhoven Box Cup 2026.

JP off the back of two unanimous wins and WJ getting his completion started in the semi final stage after a bye.

🇳🇱 Eindhoven Box Cup 2026 🏆
A 7 strong team flew out to Eindhoven this morning to take part in the prestigious Eindhoven box cup. 400 boxers from across the world will compete over the next 5 days as preparations for our Commonwealth Games team ramps up.

Good luck to the team over the next 5 days another step in the right direction towards Glasgow.
