Happy Days was set up in 2005 to augment the efforts of the IFA, Amalgamation of Northern Ireland Supporters Clubs and the Green & White Army in making our international game a focal point for inclusion, fairness and having seriously good laugh. Sad news this evening, hearing of the passing of Northern Ireland and Burnley legend Willie Irvine ⚽️⚽️⚽️
Not commonplace for us to post pics of ourselves here, but Willie was more than a legend on the pitch. On meeting him in Burnley in 2006, I was welcomed in the hospitality suite. Hard to believe that was almost 20 years ago. Willie later invited the for a stadium tour and introduced his sons and grandsons to the club where his legacy lives on 🟢⚪️🔵
