QUIZ RAISES £1,600 FOR AWARE NI

The Joint Captains’ Charity Quiz held at Shandon Park Golf Club on Friday night raised over £1,600 - with more to come in - for local mental health charity, AWARE NI.

Over 120 members and guests generously supported the event, the first joint activity held by club Captain Graeme Baker and Lady Captain Debbie Sweeney, and enjoyed a wonderful evening in the process.

A huge thanks to Social Committee volunteers - quizmasters Liam and Gerry and markers and runners, Dianne, Lady Vice Captain Diane, Fiona and Ali - and further thanks to our wonderful front of house team and brilliant kitchen staff for ensuring everything ran so smoothly.

We are absolutely delighted to congratulate our new Captain, Graeme Baker, and Lady Captain, Debbie Sweeney on their recent elections.

To have Graeme and Debbie leading the Club in our centenary year makes this moment even more special. Both bring tremendous passion, commitment, and pride to Shandon Park, and we know they will represent the Club brilliantly in what promises to be a landmark year.

As we celebrate 100 years of Shandon Park Golf Club, we couldn’t ask for better ambassadors to guide us through a year filled with events, memories, and milestones.
