Amigos 2s vs Arches 2nd XI

Yet another weekend action is coming… 🏏

A match-winning impact from two key performers! 👏 Captain Jestin led from the front with a blistering 67 off 44 balls, setting the tone for a comfortable chase. Earlier, Vincent produced a magnificent spell of 5-1-10-1, applying relentless pressure when the opposition looked to be taking control. His crucial breakthrough triggered a collapse and swung the momentum firmly in Amigos’ favour. 💙🏏

Another convincing victory for Amigos 2nd XI, strengthening our position in the race for the NCU Junior League 9 title! 💪🏏

After winning the toss, Amigos elected to bowl first against Ballymena 3rd XI. Our bowlers produced another disciplined performance, restricting the opposition to 134/9 in 25 overs. Subhilesh led the attack brilliantly with 3 wickets, while Akash picked up 2. Vincent, Pranav, and Jestin chipped in with a wicket each to complete a superb all-round bowling effort.

In reply, our captain led from the front with a sensational 67 off 44 balls, smashing 10 fours and 2 sixes. He was well supported by Vincent, who played a composed knock of 22 off 38 balls (1 four, 1 six). Vice-captain Akash then finished the chase in style with an unbeaten 31 off 17 balls*, including 4 fours and a six, guiding Amigos home in just 19.3 overs with 7 wickets in hand.
