Queen’s Taijutsu will be at the Freshers Fare in the QUB Student Union this Wednesday, 18th September.

If you or anyone you know wants to join a group of warm and welcoming people and try something fun and new that might be useful when you need it most, come down and say hello!

Queen’s Taijutsu is an open, modern martial art set in a friendly and welcoming environment.

We accept anyone over the age of 18, students and non-students alike.

And considering we’ve just replaced all our pads, gloves, and equipment with fresh new items, there has never been a better time to start.

As 2023 draws to a close, we reflect on an eventful 12 months on and off the mats. 🥴

What a year! We've had births, deaths, marriages, and even a divorce of sorts.

Here at Queen's Taijutsu we've always promoted a balance of hard work and discipline within a fun and friendly environment that fosters the kind of trust needed to safely train hard in high impact contact martial arts. 🥊

Almost anyone can promote or advertise themselves, but it takes substance to recruit and retain, to build and to grow. That doesn't just come from the top of the mats. There's a deep-rooted sense of community and kinship in this Club. 🤜🏼🤛🏼

After all, what is a club without its students? You are its beating heart; its lifeblood.

This year Queen's Taijutsu officially became independent, and adopted a new motto that better represents our core values.

We cannot overstate the strength we have drawn from your ongoing support. Your unwavering loyalty turned potential disruption for the Club into just another Monday, with everyone back on the mats as usual the very next day. That display of unity absolutely blew us away. 🥰

Thanks to you, the Club continues to thrive and flourish. 💪🏼

It's been a joy and an honour seeing you all welcome the newest members of the Queen's Taijutsu family, watching your own progression and development, and we look forward to what 2024 has in store for us all.
