Post Natal Mums.... this one’s for you 🤰🤱🏼
In response to some questions and enquiries recently, I thought a little information post might be helpful...
If you are post natal, I have 2 main options for you, depending on your needs/aims/preferences but for more info, just send me a DM 📲
1. The Restore Programme
This has been put together between myself and the lovely with the aim of creating an online community of mums, supporting each other through the post natal process. This is a holistic, comprehensive programme, covering everything from specific post natal nutrition considerations, rehabilitation for core, and appropriate home based workouts delivered over Zoom, which are safe and effective in helping you find your feet again when it comes to training after having a baby. There is SO much to this programme - for more info check out my previous post or the link in bio.
2. Post Natal Class Package
If you are looking for some face to face, in-studio training, then this one is for you. The post natal package includes a 1:1 consultation, a “rec check” (checking for diastasis recti - separation of the tummy muscles) and 5 post natal specific Pilates classes. These classes will be a mix of reformer and mat Pilates, delivered to a small, closed group (ie only post natal participants) to allow for any issues flagged in your 1:1 session to be addressed and appropriate modifications given. This will run as a course between certain dates so the group progress together. Again, just DM me for info if you are interested 💙

I’m being all reflective today...
This day 4 years ago, I started my first job as a dentist. And to be honest, I expected to be drilling and filling for the rest of my career.
I liked dentistry, but I didn’t LOVE it and it didn’t take long before I developed a sense of uneasiness. Sometimes was missing and I wasn’t prepared to settle. 🤷🏼♀️
Fast forward 4 years and I now find myself in a completely different field, in a job that has evolved into something that I never could have expected.
For me, it’s always been about people: The personalities, the stories, the individual journeys. The opportunity to contribute in some small way to someone’s overall quality of life is what I craved when I started out on a career in healthcare. And I’m so grateful that the context of my job now still gives me the opportunity to do this.
I’m a big believer in the idea that nothing is ever wasted. I learned so much in dentistry that I continue to draw on. I’m still causing pain (or preventing pain - depends what way you look at it 🤷🏼♀️) and still wearing a mask 😷 but I think it’s great to embrace the plot twists along life’s way ✌🏻
