Farewell, Stephen! ππͺ
Itβs with mixed emotions that we say goodbye to Stephen, whoβs stepping back from coaching at &
For the last 10 years (!!) his passion, expertise, and commitment have been a huge part of our club, and he will be truly missed.
From his unforgettable staredown and fist pump at the bar before stepping on the platform to his unwavering support, Stephen has left a lasting impact on us all.

The coaches will take you through specific cycles with technical focus on sn**ch and clean & jerk πͺπ» This has a great carry over to your CrossFit classes and you can also compete if you wanted to test your lifts on the platform ππ»ββοΈ

We've created a home training programme to help get you prepped to hit the ground running once gyms reopen (all being well) in February.

Equipment needed will be a barbell, some weights and a squat rack.

Patience in the finish. A cue we often use referring to getting full extension of the ankle, knee and hip to make sure we have generated as much power into the bar as possible using our legs. Then the trick is to keep the bar close and pull yourself under the bar to receive.

A complex of sn**ch pull + hip sn**ch is one of our favourites for focusing on leg drive in the pull and then the mechanics of pulling yourself under the bar. Guess what's on tomorrow night's programme πββοΈ
