Ashridge Karate Academy Okinawan based karate style teaching traditional martial arts to build fitness, strength, confidence and mental discipline. Children and adults any level.

Dojos in Berkhamsted, Chesham and Pitstone Ashridge Karate Academy (AKA) is a Goju Ryu Karate club for juniors and adults, based at a purpose built dojo in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. The club is run by Sensei John Foster, who is a 4th Dan black belt. The club is affiliated with Goju-Ryu Karate-Do International (GKI) association. There are three classes each Thursday evening, for any level of karate student - juniors (aged 7 to approx 10 years)
- cadets (age 10 - approx 14 years) and adults (age 15+). Come and join us - your first session is free, and after that sessions are paid for monthly. Training at AKA karate club is based on traditional Okinawan training techiques - including kata, kumite and bag work. The aim is to improve both the mind and body, by applying techniques developed over many generations across the globe.
