Monday night saw the final of the mens borough pairs take place. In an all Tweedmouth affair the winners after a good night of bowls were Stuart Bebbington & David Kerr. Runners - Up David Crisp & James Leddy. Thankyou to Co-Op Funeral Care for sponsoring the competition.

Sunday saw our Mens Club Champion David Crisp travel to Langholm Old Town BC to compete in the Border Bowling Association Champion of Champions competition.
In the Semi Final David overcame Chirnside’s Joe Condy in a hard fought match by the score of 21-19t to reach the final against the host clubs Steven Barker. David dug deep, coming from behind in the game to eventually win 21-15.
A fantastic result for Tweedmouth BC and back to back wins in this prestigious competition with Stuart Bebbington winning it in 2025.

Thank you very much to the Borders Committee and to Langholm Old Town for providing a fantastic playing surface and for their facilities and help during the day.

Ladies from the Berwickshire league played out their pairs competition at Tweedmouth yesterday. Winners were Margaret Laidlaw and Margaret Bell from Tweedmouth 🏆👏🏼 Runners up were Caroline Condy and Mary Gibson from Eyemouth 🥈👏🏼

Yesterday we held our long running and popular ‘Andy Clark’ Pairs.
After a shower of rain in the morning the sun came out and shone on the excellent pairs taking part.
The Winners of the competition were Josh Minto and Chris Yeomans from the Newcastle area. Runners up in a pulsating final were Malcolm Holloway and Gary Landels from West Barns BC.
A huge thank you from Tweedmouth to our Sponsors Cameron Hope of CD Hope Building and Roofing. Without our great sponsors these competitions wouldn’t take place and are very much appreciated by all.
Also a big thank you to long time member (over 50 years!) and Hon Vice President Brian Lennon for running the competition on the day.
We would also like to thank Dougie for his work in the kitchen and the bar and also all the volunteers in the the kitchen and selling of raffle tickets too.
A mention and thank you also to the green staff and all the volunteers that helped on the day. The green was running fantastic and one of the reasons we get such great bowlers entering our competitions. Literally 90+ miles distance apart for the finalists.
