🦺Call for volunteers on Saturday 10 October🦺 EDITED

Many thanks to everyone who has volunteered already – we really appreciate your support! 🥰

The roster is looking good and all we need now are
1 x set-up (and run/walk)
1 x marshal – “It is easy and a rewarding start to a Saturday morning.” Sue Herdsman (71 of her 101 volunteer credits are for marshalling)

If you can help please comment below or email [email protected] . We just need your A number to add you to this week’s top team of volunteers. 🤩

There were a few things to celebrate at event #269 on the Westwood this morning; 22 years of parkrun (hence lots of tutus), sunshine, friendships and no Cattle!
RD Maria had no problems today and has put the results on our website:

Well done to all our 327 parkrunners and 45 volunteers who took part today in whatever way, it was such a lovely morning. Big mention to Rob Sparkes who wasn't far off the course record despite not being 100%. Also everyone who responded to our appeal for help. All our visitors and first timers seemed to love it, so we must be doing domething right!
Look out for Ians event report with all the details and more photos later.

On Monday mornings we send out an email to our local subscribers which is a call for volunteers for the next weekend. Did you know you can subscribe to BWp along with other parkruns you visit regularly? You can do this within the settings of your parkrun account. Take a look and subscribe, this way you will be the first to know which roles are needed for the following week. As we head into winter you will also be first to know if we have to cancel for the dreaded weather!

This week we need marshals, and lots of them! Can you help, please?
