Tonight Beverley Round Table 247 are heading to The Game Shack Beverley for a full-on Murder Mystery Night. 👀
Suspects will be questioned.
Alibis will be tested.
Accusations will be thrown around.
And at least one of us will probably look suspicious for absolutely no reason. 😂

💼 WORK. EAT. SLEEP. REPEAT… SURELY THERE’S MORE TO IT THAN THAT?
It’s National Work Life Week, and that feels like a pretty good excuse to ask:
When did you last do something just because it sounded like a laugh?
Life gets busy.
Work.
Bills.
Jobs around the house.
Responsibilities.
Then suddenly another week has disappeared.
Round Table gives us an excuse to break that routine.

❤️ Do something worthwhile locally
😂 And spend a few hours talking absolute nonsense with good people
Nobody’s pretending Round Table magically fixes the stresses of everyday life.
But having somewhere to go, people to meet and something different in the diary?
We reckon that’s pretty important.
And with World Mental Health Day coming this Saturday, it’s also a timely reminder that making room for ourselves, our friendships and the people around us matters. World Mental Health Day takes place on 10 October each year. World Health Organization

The team is assembling…
Plans are being drawn.
Tools are coming out.
Ideas are turning into action.
And little by little, our top secret December 2026 mission is starting to take shape. 👀
Meet The Boys collection in festive mission mode:
💻 Liayle – somewhere between planning, designing and making sure the chaos has some direction
🎄 Andrew – keeping festive morale dangerously high and making sure nobody goes hungry
🦫 Chuck – supervising proceedings with absolutely no intention of revealing what he knows
🎅 Rob – bringing the Christmas spirit and looking far too pleased with whatever we’re up to
🛠️ Dazz – ready to get stuck in whenever something needs doing
🎁 Lawrence – armed with the sort of skills that can make almost anything look the part
👀 Alex – apparently trusted with something important… which is all we’re saying about that
🔊 Ben – making sure the mission has the soundtrack it deserves
Different lads.
Different strengths.
One team.
One mission.
And this isn’t the full collection either… 👀
We’ve still got more members of The Boys to add — we’re just waiting for them to be transformed and take their place in the collection.

👀 **WE'VE BEEN KEEPING A SECRET…**

Something has been happening behind the scenes at Beverley Round Table.

Conversations have been had.
Plans have been drawn up.
Favours may have been called in.
And a slightly ridiculous idea has somehow progressed from…

*"Imagine if we actually did this…"* 🤔

to…

**"Right. We're doing it."** 😳

And now things are getting serious.

🤝 We've started securing partnerships with some **fantastic businesses** who are helping us turn our latest idea into reality.

What are we doing?

**Absolutely not telling you.** 🤫

But we'll give you one clue…

That's it.

Because while we're having plenty of fun keeping this under wraps, there's a much more important reason behind what we're creating.

💙 **OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY.**

Everything we're working towards has one ultimate goal:

**Creating another way for Beverley Round Table to raise money for local charities, organisations, good causes and people who need our support.**

We're incredibly fortunate that some brilliant businesses have already seen what we're trying to achieve and have agreed to get behind it.

They're bringing their expertise.

They're giving their support.

And they're helping a group of Round Tablers turn what sounded like a slightly mad idea into something very real.

But who are they?

And what on earth have they agreed to help us with?

Meet the latest addition to The Boys — our very own master of sweet treats, baked goods and the kind of snacks that mysteriously disappear the second they’re put on the table.
Whether it’s cookies, cake or something else fresh from the oven, Andrew has a habit of turning up with exactly the sort of thing that makes a Round Table night even better.

A massive secret project is coming to the streets this December! We can’t reveal exactly what is hiding in the shadows just yet, but we promise it’s going to bring a whole new level of magic to our community.

To make this happen and to kick-start our winter fundraising, we need your help. 🎃 WELCOME TO SPOOKY SEASON 👻
And October at Beverley Round Table 247 is looking very tasty…

The nights are getting darker.
The weather’s getting colder.
And the socials? Still looking strong. 🔥

This month we’ve got plenty going on, including:

🎲 Game Shack Night – where mystery, strategy and suspicious behaviour are very much encouraged…
🧲 Magnet Fishing – because apparently normal hobbies just aren’t quite enough for us 😂
👀 And of course, there’s still plenty happening behind the scenes with a few ideas, plans and secrets quietly brewing…

Spooky season feels like the perfect time for a bit of mystery, a few laughs and some properly good socials.

🎲 ROLL FOR SOCIALS… GAME SHACK NIGHT IS COMING! 🔎

Our next adventure takes us right into the heart of Beverley as we head to The Game Shack Beverley for an evening where strategy, suspicion and questionable decision-making are strongly encouraged. 😂

The Game Shack is a brilliant family-run local gaming café on Landress Lane, built around bringing people together through tabletop gaming. Their shelves cover everything from board and card games to Dungeons & Dragons, while their events include murder mysteries and social-deduction games where trusting your mates may prove to be your first mistake. 👀

Their motto?

🎲 PLAY. RELAX. HAVE FUN.

Sounds suspiciously like our sort of place. 😏

Will we be solving a murder?
🐉 Rolling for initiative?
♟️ Plotting our way to victory?
🕵️ Discovering which Tabler absolutely cannot be trusted?

“WHAT ACTUALLY IS ROUND TABLE?”

Make it a slightly cheeky myth-busting post. It gives people a reason to read, explains the organisation without sounding corporate, and recruitment happens naturally at the end.

🤔 SO… WHAT ACTUALLY IS ROUND TABLE?

Good question.

And no, before anyone asks…

❌ It isn’t a furniture appreciation society.
❌ You don’t have to wear a suit.
❌ There are no secret handshakes.
❌ You don’t need to already know somebody.
❌ And despite recent evidence, we don’t spend all our time building mysterious things. 👀😂

Beverley Round Table 247 is basically a group of local men aged 18–45 getting together to DO MORE.

That might mean…

🍻 Having a pint with the lads
🎲 Trying something completely new
🔨 Getting stuck into a ridiculous project
❤️ Supporting our local community
💰 Raising money for good causes
🚐 Heading off on adventures
😂 And accumulating stories that probably sounded like a better idea at the time

Some socials are relaxed.

Some get competitive.

Some involve sausages.

And apparently some now require top-secret planning meetings. 🤫

But underneath all of it is something pretty simple:

Good people. Good mates. New experiences.

You don’t have to commit your entire life.

You don’t have to be the loudest person in the room.

You just have to come along and give it a go.

And with plenty more planned for the months ahead…

there’s never been a better time to discover what all the fuss is about.
