Chasing 144, the Strikers reached 144/9 in 32.4 overs after a tense finish, showing great determination under pressure.

Jose Antony led the batting effort brilliantly with a match-winning 53 runs, while Jinson Francis added a valuable 19 runs and delivered an outstanding all-round performance with the ball, taking 4 wickets for 40 runs. Dhanush (2/21) and Jomy Jose (2/23) also played key roles in restricting Royal Hastings CC to 143 all out in 37.5 overs.

Bexhill Strikers delivered a commanding performance to secure a 5-wicket victory against Hastings & St Leonards Priory CC in the Sussex Men’s Trophy T20 clash at Bexhill Down. Restricting the opposition to 113/9, the Strikers’ bowlers led by Ajesh Ramachandran (2/6), Dhanush (2/12), and Shaji Thomas (2/21) kept the pressure throughout the innings.

In reply, Bexhill Strikers chased down the target comfortably in just 13.3 overs, finishing on 117/5. Adarsh Thomas remained unbeaten on 30*, while Jose Antony added a valuable 27* and Shaji Thomas contributed 18 runs to guide the team home.

A brilliant all-round team effort ensured another memorable win for the Strikers.

The 1st XI travel to Washwell Lane to face Wadhurst CC, while the 2nd XI defend home turf at Bexhill Downs against Willingdon CC.

With two competitive encounters starting at 13:00 hrs, both squads will be looking to put in strong performances and continue building momentum throughout the season.

Bexhill Strikers delivered a commanding all-round performance to secure a thrilling 4-wicket victory against Willingdon CC in the Sussex Men’s Trophy T20 clash.

Restricting the opposition to 114/7 in 20 overs, the Strikers’ bowlers set the tone with disciplined spells, led by Jose Antony’s impressive 3/20 and Adarsh Thomas’ economical 2/14.

In reply, Bexhill chased down the target confidently in 17.2 overs, finishing at 120/6. Elwin Varghese anchored the innings with a vital 25 off 23 balls, while Jinson Francis played a composed unbeaten knock of 22* from 20 deliveries to guide the team home and seal another memorable win for the Strikers.

Bexhill Strikers secured a commanding 106-run victory over Willingdon CC in the Sussex Cricket League T20 Plate.

Batting first, Bexhill Strikers posted 164/4, with Adarsh Thomas scoring 46 and Jomy Jose remaining unbeaten on 29*. In reply, Willingdon CC were bowled out for 58 in 15.3 overs.

Jomy Jose starred with the ball, taking 3/15, while Joby Jose added 2/9 in a dominant all-round performance.
