I’m well and truly back to work after the summer break! Plenty of my yoga teacher training students also went quiet over the summer, and this is the beauty of learning at your own pace - you study more when life allows and less when you need to. And when you do get into a rhythm, studying can become part of your routine too, keeping it fresh.

I love this flexible approach to learning, but I always felt like something was lacking when I’ve studied like this. So I do it differently! Ongoing feedback and 1:1 and group sessions allow me to keep in touch, to know my students, what they’re stuck on, where their strengths are, and to actually teach them.

Flexibility with structure and support. Something most of us actually need.

Online 200 hour YTT and 300 hour YTT, along with a host of CPD courses for yoga teachers are all ready for you to start now. I think this season lends itself to studying, personally!

And if you prefer some in person contact to, my 300hr advanced yoga teacher training takes this approach. Join us this March ❤️

Are you a yoga teacher who’s feeling a bit stuck? Uninspired? A little alone?

Maybe you’ve got into a routine with your teaching but you’re boring yourself with it. Or you’re feeling like, however much you know, it’s just not enough (which is quite normal – we never stop learning with yoga!)

Whether you’ve been teaching for years, just started or you’re still training, imposter syndrome can hold you back from branching out, while comparison makes you wonder why everyone else seems to.

And through all of this, you’re still showing up and holding space for your students. It’s wonderful, but at times it’s exhausting!

Gather is my offering to help with this!
Join us in Ninfield on 18th October for a morning of yoga, pranayama, meditation and journalling all focused around self confidence, speaking your truth and moving with intention. There will be tips and ideas for you to take into your own teaching, but also space for you to simply practice, share experiences of yoga and teaching, with some mentoring to support you.

Often the more we teach, the more our own yoga practice falls to the sidelines. As it does, so does our confidence and even our passion for the one thing we love – yoga. This workshop is a time for you to gather with other teachers, to re-fill your cup and return to your classes feeling more confident and inspired.

Spaces are limited, pop me a message to book yours!

This workshop is suitable for new and experienced teachers, as well as trainees.

After class on Wednesday I was chatting with some of my students. One has just started her yoga teacher training with me last week, and commented that she had no idea how she was going to remember everything and didn’t feel good enough to teach (which is a totally normal feeling at the beginning of a course!)

Another lady completed her training a year ago, and she responded :
“I had the worst imposter syndrome when I first started teaching yoga and now… it’s gone”

She hadn’t realised this until we started reflecting, and it was lovely to hear teachers supporting each other through what everyone experiences.

Imposter syndrome creeps in for all of us at times, which is why I’m running a special session in a few weeks for yoga teachers, old and new, to explore inner confidence, finding your voice and overcoming it. With time to gather together, because teaching yoga can be lonely and we all need a little community.

Interested? Pop me a dm for info!

And if you’re yet to join a YTT but imposter syndrome is getting in your way, this is a little reminder that you can do it too 🙌

Calling all yoga teachers - and students - come join our circle!

I offer a couple of online yoga classes each month, which I love teaching ❤️

The next class is this Wednesday 23rd September, at 12-1pm

All my classes are suitable for everyone, with an emphasis on accessibility and sensitivity.

However they’re also an offering designed to help yoga teachers, with tips, cues and lesson plans to inspire you, and time for a chat after if you want. A friendly space to practice and share, that will support you in your own teaching.

Often we start to teach yoga because we love it, but then we find less and less time to actually practice. If this sounds familiar, come join us. And if you can’t make it live, recordings are available.

Pop me a DM to book ✨

This weekend my 300 hour yoga teacher training students were treated to a weekend at The Temple in Sussex (the most amazing space), with Sundeep.

Sundeep’s teaching is inspired by the work of Vanda Scaravelli, as well as so much of her own culture, heritage and personal practice. The weekend was all about the subtle body, energy and intuition, mudras, mantra, bandha, teaching freely and with awareness, exploring the body, movement, connection…

As always, there was also talking, sharing, tea drinking, sitting by the fire, and generally feeling the support of each other on the course too. This is a big part of an advanced teacher training- feeling like you’re not alone as a teacher!

One of the trainees commented the weekend was a tonic, magical… and I know exactly what she means.

If you’d like to join us here next year, the early bird for my next 300hr advanced yoga teacher training ends this month. It’s a small group, friendly, supportive and exactly what you need if you’re ready to take the next step on your yoga teaching journey ❤️
And if you can’t make it in person, you can also study at your pace online now!

I’ve had lots of conversations with people over the last few days about how they didn’t manage to do much studying over the summer, and they’re now ready to focus again as the season starts to change. Not quite autumn. Not quite summer.

I love the summer, but I understand and appreciate this shift in gear. It’s not just about schools going back. There’s a natural change - we prepare to snuggle up, turn inwards. There’s more time for the slower things that require focus - like joining a new course and spending evenings studying.

Of course there are other times in the year that lend themselves to this - the new year and spring are always times for new chapters. But the shift into cosy season is one of them.

Whether it’s learning to teach yoga, or grow your skills as a teacher, or something totally unrelated, perhaps now is a good time to make a start? It seems like that’s what nature is asking of us!

If it’s not possible to get to an in person yoga teacher training but you still want some contact, support, accountability and live learning, the hybrid training is what you need!

My last course of the year starts next week, and with one space available you can still join us :-)

Here’s what one of our recent graduates has to say:
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the course and all that it offered... The pace and style of teaching was perfect for me as I could fit it around my work, caring for elderly relatives etc... I feel ready to start teaching and am excited to spread my love of yoga.”

- Anne is already starting classes after finishing the course a few weeks ago. She has 18 people signed up to her first 2 classes!

Hybrid yoga teacher training includes:
live training days online
monthly online check ins and module releases
a group to learn and go on this journey with
1:1 support from me
plus a thorough online learning platform with lifetime access.

This isn’t just a course where you learn how to teach yoga. You learn about the philosophy, history, the reason we practice. You appreciate all the aspects of yoga that make up the practice, not just asana. And you learn about yourself, in a way that’s personal and unique to everyone.

If this sounds exciting, pop me a DM to find out about the remaining space. Hybrid course starts 14th September!
