CONGRATULATIONS 🥳🎉 to these brilliant students for attaining their black belts this Sunday after a tough 4hr grading! Kerry, Martyn, Theo and Jacob have gained their 1st Dahn ranks.

It’s amazing to see how far they have come, 3-4 times every week, putting in tremendous effort and hard work. This achievement is not given lightly but these four absolutely deserve it. We are so proud to have them in our club 🥋🖤

🎃 HALLOWEEN WEEK🎃

Last week we invited the students to come in fancy dress and play some Halloween themed games. Amazing classes, brilliant energy! I hope you all had a great time 🥋👊

Congratulations to all our amazing students who graded this weekend, you all put in a huge effort dispite the heat! 👊💪🏻

Gradings are all about perseverance and pushing yourselves further than you thought you could, while showing the best standard you can. It’s all about being the best you, you can be. 🥋

We also introduced some essay writing for the Dahn Bo Nims and black belts, and once I had deciphered the hand writing I was very impressed with all your answers, well done! 🥳

A special shout out to Dion who achieved his Dahn Bo Nim belt (black belt candidate). We were all impressed with the huge effort you put in💪🏻

For some of our new black belts this was the first time you were testing students, you did a great job! Thank you to all of the black belt instructors for giving up their time to help with the grading 🖤

For those of you who promoted, I can easily say every single one of you deserve your new belt, we’ve seen you grow throughout the years into the martial artists you’ve become, some of you since 4/5 years old, and I’m very proud of how far you’ve come. For those of you that just got your first Dahn black belt, don’t forget your journey has only just begun! 🥋
