Our First friendly of the season is against a well organised Sidley side from the prem.
It will be a good test and preparation for us before going into Div one this season.

A brilliant day down at Sidley recreation ground, where the community came together to celebrate the grand opening of the new community Hub. Well done to Ewen Stanley who guessed the closest number of sweets in the jar at 180. The actual amount was 179, thanks to everyone for taking part in this fun activity and the mini soccer drill we laid out.

Bexhill AAC football club are very proud to be returning back home to Sidley rec this year and can’t wait to cement our partnerships with the Heart of Sidley and the Sidley Hub Cafe teams.

Big day… our season finishes today. Last big push.
We are looking for a good team performance to pick up the 6 points then hoping other results go our way.
Come you you Mighty Affa boys, let’s do our part and then keep those fingers crossed that Icklesham can do us a favour 🤞🏻

Big day tomorrow, a double header against Tackleway with it all on the line.
For us we must take away all 6 points and hope.
We have had a great season with many ups and a few downs. We have thrown points away, had a few points robbed from us, which may come back to bite us. BUT whatever happens tomorrow, we can hold our heads up knowing we are already double winners, we have only been together for two seasons and we have achieved back to back promotions and 3 cup wins 🏆🏆🏆💪🏽⚽️

We only went and RETAINED the Hastings Lower division cup. Winners 24/25 & 25/26 what an achievement boys.
I am proud of every single one of you.
Burwash made it a thrilling game but the Mighty Affa came out on top of the 3-2 thriller.
Burwash caught us napping in the first 5 minutes of the game and made it 0-1. Then Frankie Deeprose did not give up on a ball over the top, beat the defence and the keeper to it, 1-1.
Then from a set Piece we were undone again, beaten in the air 1-2 Burwash.
Then captain to the rescue just before half time Mark Funnel making it 2-2 going into the break.
Second half both sides had chances, a few important saves from Luke Cornford. THEN 5 minutes from time Harvey Lincoln pops up with the Cup winner 3-2 to the MIGHTY AFFA 2NDS.
