Bicester Dance Academy was founded over 20 years ago by the principal Sarah Jane Tree. The idea was to create a professional dancing school in Bicester for all levels. From tiny tots and baby classes, through to older children, teenagers and adults. Sarah herself has worked as a choreographer and teacher for over 25 years and her wealth of experience has been driven by the guiding principle of dance for all. Dancing is excellent for developing a child's natural sense of: poise, sensory co-ordination, grace, artistry, self discipline, team work and muscle memory. Pupils are trained for ISTD examinations in all subjects as well as preparation for competitions, shows and displays, where appropriate. At BDA the pupils work through the Imperial examination system. The Imperial society is one of the oldest & most highly regarded training methods which is used by all of the major dance colleges, a large proportion of West End dancers will have trained under this method.

Now welcoming senior dancers for our Autumn Term, starting Monday 7th September.
Whether you're returning to dance, refining your technique, or looking for something new, our senior classes offer serious training across Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Commercial and Tap.
As an ISTD-registered academy, senior students have the opportunity to work towards recognised exams, take part in our annual show, and compete at dance competitions throughout the year.
Free trial classes are available for new senior students wishing to join us this term.

Enrolling now for the Autumn Term, starting Monday 7th September.
We offer a comprehensive dance education for children and students of all ages, from our youngest Minis through to Juniors and Seniors, across Ballet, Tap, Modern, Acro, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Contemporary and Jazz.

What an absolutely incredible show from our junior and pre-school dancers this year.
We are so unbelievably proud of every single one of them. They took to that stage and gave everything they had, and those medals are so very well deserved. The hard work, the dedication and the smiles on their faces said it all.
To our dancers and your wonderful families — thank you for trusting us with your little ones. Watching them grow in confidence, ability and joy is the greatest privilege.
