Most people know we are part based in Chamonix, and currently here fo a our summer stint. For years I've looked at the original Midi lift station, long since abandoned, and fancied a walk up to it. So a spare afternoon and a quick hike up.

Oh the irony.
Spotted in a bothy, guess which one?

No anxiety. Nice to be back here trekking and without the pressure of attempting one of these alpine giants. Doubts always creep in when the objective is a monster peak. Anyway nice calm walking below the and and up to the summit of the Lauberhorn.

Having fun checking out a new gorge walking venue for groups in the coming weeks. They're going to love exploring this gorge.
