The two were involved in a Road Traffic Accident near Eldoret.

Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) has provisionally suspended Spanish Athlete, Mo Katir for whereabouts failures.
Katir will appeal the suspension.

In his response, Katir said he was present at the location he provided AIU during the sample collection window but the officials failed to locate the place.

Kelvin Kiptum's Marathon WR was ratified. The youngster is now officially the WR holder over the 26.2 mile road distance. This was archived during the 2023 Bank of America Chicago Marathon .

Kiptum aims to go sub 2 under standard conditions in Rotterdam, April 2024.

Uganda's Jacob Kiplimo who's doubles as the WR for Half Marathon and 15km with compatriot will open seasons in Valencia participating in the 10km race.
His previous run equalled WR.
Speaking to our correspondent, he's quoted as saying; "I'll try my best" when asked about breaking the 10km World Records.
The Valencia 10km race is scheduled for Sunday, 14th January 2024.
