Football Coaching Academy lead by Coa

K50 Academy was launched by me, James Robinson (Coach Jim) in late 2020...
with one simple message, to be the very best football coaching environment for every player regardless of age or ability. We instal and drive confidence in every young player and it continues to be the cornerstone of what we believe in…………confidence drives performance drives success. The foundations of K50 Academy began many (many) years ago when I discovered my love for football, hugely influenced by my dad Ken Robinson who spent his entire life dedicated to football, finding himself on the books of West Ham and Fulham playing under the late Sir Bobby Robson also representing England at school boy level. Ken was a well respected figure at the FA and spent his later years driving local grass roots football in addition to leading Womens football in Essex. Thank you Dad, I dedicate all K50 Academy sucess in memory of you. K50 Academy are entirely committed to improving every single player we work with. My love for coaching started around 20 years ago when I found myself supporting then leading sessions within youth football for ages 6+, I took the decision to continue to play over the next 8 years at which point I had the opportunity to restart my coaching journey. For the past 12 years, I have worked with a number of clubs and academys across Essex to support the development of my coaching. I have had the opportunity to work with early years players age 3+ through to Men’s and Women’s Semi Proffesional level. In 2018, following an increase in the number of request to work with players on a 121 basis, I launched my first venture, JR Football Coaching. K50 Academy is working in partnership with Perry Street F.C and offers Saturday Soccer Coaching, Girls only Wildcats programme ,SEN/Autism sessions, Team/Group Coaching, 121 Private Sessions, Futsal, Goal Keeping Coaching and Holiday Camps designing unique training programmes for every member combining physical, social and communication skills. We aim to continue to exceed expectations for both player and parent during your time with us. We choose to promote a pressure free environment where players are encouraged to use their imagination. We also beleive that making mistakes is an important aspect of every players development. We are commited to improving every player and ask for the same commitement in return.

“The only mistake that can be made, is the lack of desire to improve”

Coach Jim

A New Pathway for K50 Academy Players ⚽

Following Perry Street FC’s announcement about plans for two great clubs, Billericay Town and Perry Street FC, to come together ahead of the 2027/28 season, we wanted to share what this exciting news means for K50 Academy families. 🤝

Since launching in 2020, K50 Academy has worked exclusively with Perry Street FC to provide a pathway into grassroots football. We’re proud of the relationship we’ve built and excited about the opportunities this new chapter could bring. ❤️

From the 2027/28 season, K50 Academy players will have the opportunity to progress into Billericay Town FC as the clubs come together—creating more chances for young players to develop, enjoy their football and continue their journey. 🌱🚀

K50 Academy carries on as usual. Our setup and sessions remain the same, and we won’t be moving from James Hornsby School. It’s our new home, and we’re here to stay! 🏠⚽

We’re proud of the pathway we’ve built with Perry Street FC and can’t wait to see what lies ahead for our players and families. 👀
