There wasn't much cricket yesterday because of the rain, but plenty today.

The womens teams had a mixed day with the Blaze losing, but the Blizzards winning, with Gent making 50 and Harmer having a much better day than her brother getting 2-15 off 6.

The mens first team won their Bertie Joel cup match against Harefield with Rayner taking three wickets. The batters split the runs between them as they chased 169 before confronting the M25.

There were some excellent colts performaces which is encouraging for the club.

The 2nd team are out of the HFEL plate cup. Shenfield won by five wickets, with fourteen overs to spare.

Billericay 2nd teams very own Tom Gibney and Oscar Bassett make the county honours board this week.

Tom Gibney took 6 wickets for 41 in the 2nd team as they beat Ilford CC.

The 5th team beat the 6th team in the league today. The highlight of the day was Ellie Farmer cleaning bowling her dad to get her first ever five wicket haul. Well done Ellie!

Dad had to buy a jug of beer for the team mates to celebrate.
