🏉 REGIONAL SEASON DELAYED UNTIL THE 21ST

No, this is NOT an April Fool! 😂

England Rugby has announced that the start of the competitive community rugby season has been delayed.

For Regional 1 and below, competitive fixtures scheduled before 21 September will not go ahead as planned, with the season now set to begin from the week commencing Monday 21 September. (England Rugby)

The decision has been made by the RFU, following consultation with the rugby community and consideration of the ongoing drought conditions and hard, dry pitches across England.

Those numbers still don’t quite feel real.

What’s even more incredible is where those people are from.

Yes, the UK remains our biggest audience, but every month North Rugby reaches people from the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, countries across Europe, Asia and beyond.

It shows just how connected our game has become and how much interest there is in the stories coming out of grassroots rugby in the North of England.
