We're proud to be taking part in the Cash for Kids Sports Challenge, giving us just two weeks to raise as much money as possible for our club.

Our goal is simple: to continue supporting our current players while creating opportunities for even more young people to experience the sport we all love. We want to do everything we can to reduce barriers to participation, grow the game locally and ensure that as many children as possible can enjoy the benefits of being part of the Billingham Stars family.

Every penny raised comes back to support our club, and there are also fantastic funding opportunities available through the challenge. Every participating group will receive match funding of up to £2,500. In addition, the three groups that raise the most money will receive match funding up to £10,000 for 1st place, £8,000 for 2nd place, and £6,000 for 3rd place. Every donation could help us unlock even more support for our players and future development.

Our main club fundraising event will be the Billingham Park Run on 11th October, and we'd love to see as many players, parents, family members, friends and supporters involved as possible. Whether you're running, walking, volunteering or sponsoring someone taking part, every contribution will make a difference.

Together, let's show what the Billingham Junior Stars community can achieve and help secure a bright future for the next generation of hockey players.

What a fantastic performance from the Billingham U16 Girls, coming away from Manchester with a brilliant 6–3 victory! 🏒🔥

The girls once again showed exactly what makes this team so special. From the first whistle, they worked tirelessly for one another, maintained a fantastic positive attitude and never stopped battling as a team.

A special mention has to go to the girls who travelled to Manchester having already played in an earlier fixture. Despite the extra game and the long day, they still gave absolutely everything for their teammates and continued to put in the effort right until the final whistle. That commitment says so much about the character of this group.

The goals were well earned with scorers aplenty, but the real highlight was the teamwork, determination and togetherness shown throughout the game. Everyone played their part, supported each other and kept pushing forward.

As a club, we couldn't be prouder of the attitude these girls bring every single week. Their willingness to work for each other, encourage each other and give their all is something really special.

Well done, girls! Keep believing, keep working for each other and keep bringing that fantastic team spirit every week! 👏🔥

Billingham U14 D1s – Leeds Away

Despite the result, there are plenty of positives for the Billingham U14D1s to take away from their away fixture against Leeds U14D1s.
From the first whistle to the final buzzer, the team showed a fantastic attitude and work ethic. The positivity in the changing room and on the bench was clear to see throughout the game, with everyone supporting one another and staying focused right until the end.

The players listened to the coaches, took on board the instructions, and gave everything they had in every single shift. There was a real commitment from the whole squad, with every player working hard for their teammates and never giving up.

While the result may not have been what we wanted (4-1 Leeds), the character, attitude, teamwork and effort shown by the players are all things to be proud of. These are the foundations we can build on as we continue to develop and improve together.

A big well done to every player for giving their all from start to finish. Keep that attitude, keep working hard, and the results will follow.

What a fantastic performance from our U12N2 squad at Whitley Bay yesterday!

The team played brilliantly and showed just how much progress they’ve made since our last meeting. On that occasion we were on the wrong end of a mercy result, but yesterday the squad battled hard and came away with a 3–1 defeat — a fantastic improvement and a performance to be proud of! 👏🔥

What a fantastic afternoon of hockey at Billingham Forum!

Our U10s welcomed Whitley Bay, Leeds Knights, Kingston Sharks and Bradford for a brilliant afternoon of non-stop action, big smiles and plenty of hockey!

👏 Great effort from every player who hit the ice, showing fantastic teamwork, determination and plenty of Billingham Stars spirit!

A huge thank you to all the visiting teams, coaches, volunteers, officials and, of course, our amazing supporters for helping make it such a great jamboree.

What a performance from our U12N1 squad yesterday against Deeside Dragons! 💪🏒

A fantastic 3–1 victory after a great team effort from start to finish. Everyone worked hard, supported each other and showed exactly what this team is about. 👏
