MATCH REPORT ✍️

We continue our Pre Season with a strong performance, a few new faces today making a big impact and hopefully we can build from it and carry these performances in to the season.

Both teams couldn’t be separated for 85 minutes, a very competitive game with both teams having equal chances to take the game. With all keepers putting on a good performance. The game was decided with Joe Foster dropping in to the 10 Role and carrying the ball in to the box drawing a foul and then converting the penalty neatly.

A good performance from everyone across the park, from our stand in Keeper today who made some excellent saves and we hope might have got the Sunday bug..
Solid back 4 making important interceptions and big tackles. Midfield throughout controlled the game with the formation we’ve implementing and the forwards creating good chances.

Most importantly we had 19 down for pre season the most we’ve had in over a year and some great debuts it’s hopefully a good sign for what’s to come.

Best of luck to Rovers next season will be up in contention at the top I’m sure

This Sunday - A game against last years relegation fodder (they renamed so nobody knows who they are when they title charge this season)

Always a good game between the 2. We beat them once to clinch the title, they beat us once to win the cup. This season we will be split but hopefully meet in the Mong cup.

Today the lads headed to Darlington to play a prem side of their division Shuttle n loom

No excuses ofcourse👀 but the pitch was like concrete, One corner of the pitch was as high as the Azteca 🇲🇽 and ofcourse would it be Sunday league without a few drop outs.

Anyways, an absolutely lovely day for it. A slow start which put us 1-0 down but fair play to the lads who reacted well and dominated the rest of the half going 2-1 up

Second half we were still on top until the 75th min and got sloppy and went 4-2 down😢

Evan does well to win a free kick on the edge of the box and up steps Danny Honeyman. What a freekick, it absolutely flew into the top corner. What a man😍

we go again next week to Pot house who are a good side and should be a good game 👍

After a weeks break for some cup thing that’s happening. We continue our Pre Season with a game over in Darlington vs Shuttle and Loom from the Darlo Prem

With a good number of lads available tomorrow we continue to push this season to be a good competitive one!
