π 18 SCHOLARSHIPS. ONE CLUB. π
Eighteen young lads. Eighteen scholarships. One incredible achievement. β€οΈπ€
As a club, we couldn't be prouder of every single one of them. The hard work, dedication and commitment shown over the years has been rewarded and every one of these opportunities has been thoroughly earned.
A special thank you to Dibbo, Dean, and the coaches from Mirfield, Stanningley, Silsden, King Cross and Morley. Grassroots rugby is a team effort and you have all played a huge part in helping these boys on their journey.
This concludes our scholarship announcements "for now", but for these lads, the hard work is only just beginning.
Congratulations boys. Albion is incredibly proud of you all. β€οΈπ€

π SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT π
Today we are delighted to announce that Lunt has signed a scholarship with the Leeds Rhinos π¦ππ
Having joined Albion from Mirfield, Lunt quickly showed the quality he possesses. A highly skilful player who is equally comfortable at full-back or in the halves, he has the ability to unlock defences with his vision, footwork and silky smooth handling.
His hard work and dedication have now been rewarded with a well-deserved opportunity at Leeds Rhinos π
Congratulations to Lunt and his family from everyone at Keighley Albion β€οΈπ€

Today we are delighted to announce that Annison has signed a scholarship with the Wigan Warriors β«π΄
Annison has only been with Albion for a month after joining us from King Cross Park following the unfortunate folding of his team. While he's new to Albion colours, he's certainly no stranger to us! Over the years he caused us plenty of problems as an opposition player and we knew exactly what a talent he was. π
A big, skilful and incredibly quick player, Annison can play virtually anywhere across the backline and always looks dangerous with the ball in hand.
We're delighted he's now an Albion player and couldn't be happier to see him rewarded with a scholarship at one of the biggest clubs in the game.
Congratulations to Annison and his family on this fantastic achievement β€οΈπ€

π SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT π
Today we are delighted to announce that Spencer has signed a scholarship with the Leeds Rhinos π¦ππ
A tough, uncompromising middle, Spencer is as hard as they come. While we can't take much credit for his development, having only joined us a few months ago from Mirfield where he spent most of his junior rugby, we are absolutely delighted to have him as part of the Albion family β€οΈπ€
His performances, attitude and work ethic have quickly made an impression and this opportunity is thoroughly deserved π
Congratulations to Spencer and his family from everyone at Keighley Albion.

π SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT π
Today we are delighted to announce that George has earned a scholarship with the Bradford Bulls β€οΈπ€π
We can't take too much credit for this one as George only joined Albion at the start of this season from Morley Knights, where he spent all of his junior rugby. They have done a fantastic job because he is some player π
He might not be the biggest on the pitch, but he certainly has one of the biggest hearts. Tough, fearless and skilful, George can play at half-back or ho**er and never takes a backward step.
Congratulations to George and his family on a thoroughly deserved scholarship with Bradford Bulls. β€οΈπ€

π SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT π
Today we are delighted to announce that Cooper-Prisk has signed a scholarship with the Bradford Bulls β€οΈπ€π
A no-nonsense forward with a huge heart, Cooper-Prisk is known for his hard running, big carries and fearless defence.
We can't take all the credit for this one, as he joined us a few years ago from our neighbours Silsden Storm, where he spent most of his younger playing days. Since arriving at Albion he has gone from strength to strength and fully deserves this opportunity.
Congratulations to Cooper-Prisk and his family on this fantastic achievement π

Keighley Albion are delighted to announce that John Williams has been appointed as the clubβs Open Age Head Coach from January 2027.
John brings with him a wealth of experience and an outstanding coaching pedigree. During his time at West Bowling he helped establish them as one of the strongest community clubs in the country, while his work with Bradford Bulls and North Wales Crusaders has given him valuable experience within the professional game and player development pathways.
What makes this appointment even more special is that John is no stranger to Keighley Albion. Having previously pulled on the famous red and black jersey, he understands exactly what this club stands for, the pride of representing Albion and the importance of our place within the local community.
Chairman Richard Dibbin said:
βI am absolutely delighted that John has agreed to become the next Head Coach of Keighley Albion. His values, ambition and vision for the future aligned perfectly with where we want to take this club.β
βKeighley Albion is a club on the rise. We have one of the strongest junior sections in the game, fantastic volunteers and a real desire to keep moving forward. We want to build a club that develops its own players, competes at the highest level possible and gives every player a clear pathway from junior rugby into the open age game. We firmly believe John is the right person to help lead us on that journey.β
βMost importantly, John is a great bloke. He understands people, understands rugby and understands Keighley Albion. We are thrilled to have him on board and excited about what the future holds.β
βUntil John joins us in January, Danny Snowden, Col Pickles and Bobby Derbyshire will continue to lead the team. The work they have done has been outstanding and they have our full backing for the remainder of the season.β
Welcome John β€οΈπ€
