SGA Magnet Fishing

Got out with the new magnet today and managed to get out 3 bikes. Moved round to another spot and got a scaffold pole and joint along with a load of c02 cartridges.

Managed to get out finally and had a good couple of weeks with some good finds. On the list is a few phones couple of knives and an awful lot of the usual stuff. Amazing what can be found when you have the patience. Can't forget mentioning Wallasey Community Anglers for all the hard work you guys have been doing, keep it up.

Well I've been out a few times with the magnet the last few weeks and I've just been sat in my garage sorting all the detritus that I've pulled up. Only took an hour with some stuff soaking in what was white vinegar. 1st pic is the scrap 2nd is fishing line 3rd is 2 lead weights and 4th is the vinegar bath.

Its been a while since I went magnet fishing but I'm made up with the results. I managed to find a submerged 5 pound note attached to my magnet. Made it worth standing out in the rain.

Can anyone Liverpool side please help find this mans keepsake

Another successful recovery for the Magnet Man 2 bikes, big piece of rebar and bits and pieces

Well I had a good haul today as you can see cleared all this out and just as I was leaving 3 ducks flew in and started to have a wash. Its the little things I guess.
