Chipping away ⛏️⛏️

Spending a large period of time in a surplus really benefited my physique.

Had a couple health hiccups which had set me back slightly but we’re back on course to finish on a high and in the best shape to date 🫡

Weight loss / goals are never plane sailing, there’s always bumps in the road. It’s how you respond to adversity in tough times. Carry on, don’t give up.

Progress happens over time not over night ✅

Bulk Progress 💪🏽

20 months between photos & I’ve dieted down for 5 months then lean bulked back up since. (Putting on 2 stone from the end of the last cut). In comparison to my precious bulk as pictured I’m 1 stone (14lbs) heavier now then on the left with similar body composition.

The reality of gaining lean mass naturally is that you have to stay in a surplus for a period of time to get big results.

3 more weeks left till we start dieting down again over 20+ weeks.

15+ months of hard work 💪🏽

2023 goals set, Let’s go ✅

1st6 in 12 weeks 👏🏽👏🏽

Well done to Matt who done extremely well throughout his 12 week diet & training plan. Followed everything step by step & still had some social occasions! With Matt we gradually reduced his calories (he was never starving) & increased training volume in certain areas he was lacking strength wise. It’s great to see when a client falls in love with training & the rewards that reap with it, someone that just wants to learn and progress after all that’s essentially what you pay a coach for. Long term sustainable habits should be essential for anyone on their fitness journeys.

Enjoy 🇯🇲 & we go again next year to add more to the tank 💪🏽

My diary is now open for January clients! If you want to reach your fitness goals. Message me to get started 📥

You get out what you put in ✅

Props to client Owen who’s target was to get some weight off & get stronger in the gym. We got Owen to change up his eating habits whilst still enjoying the food’s he likes & implementing a routine around his busy work life. Often working away he had to improvise but did a great job with the advice at hand he learned how to balance this.

Whilst Owen lost 1st he also put on muscle during the journey & is now considerably stronger & even with a few injury set backs (not gym related).

Trust the process & the results will come 💪🏽💪🏽

Which one am I heavier in left or right?? ⬇️

Come along way this past year, on the left was before my cut last year & on the right is me now (8 months into bulking).

Left I lost 14lbs, Right I’d gained 15.5lbs back.

Going through a reverse diet to bring up my calories slowly then going into a clean bulk meant I could hold onto some shape whilst bulking, the point of this was to minimalise fat gains and maximise muscle gains without “going soft” too quickly & wanting to jump straight back into a cut.

I’m now taking on 5 more clients throughout the summer, if you want to lose weight / gain muscle & change your habits drop me a message 📥

Summer’21 Shredz 🤘🏽☀️

I lost 14lbs in these photos & gained back 15.5lbs. Filling out nicely in the process and still looking considerably lean in comparison to before (I’ve not given up my social life either) This also highlights the importance of a reverse diet & having a coach (even if you are one) as a lot of people finish a diet phase and fall straight back into old habits.

What I would say is that if you are constantly dipping in and out of strict 6/12 week challenges to get the weight back off. A reverse diet into maintenance phase will be the most beneficial for keeping the weight off, although this will also include continuous tracking for a while & a slight gain in weight (not much & barely noticeable if done properly) it will save you a ton of money & take a lot less time to lose when you want to drop some weight again.

Big progress for Leah who lost almost 2 stone in 12 weeks ‼️

Lifestyle changes don’t happen over night and she was pleasantly surprised with the differences you can make without having to give up all the foods you enjoy along with incorporating an active balanced lifestyle around busy work life. It can be done! Now Leah enjoys her healthy routine and is happy with her progress.

As a coach I think it’s important to teach clients how to form sustainable habits, the industry is full of “quick fix diets” without actually showing people how to change their lifestyle / habits for the long term of which I am a strong believer in. It’s easy to put someone on a calorie deficit with chicken and rice for every meal but in reality people are more likely to stick to their goals & keep the weight off if they have foods that they actually enjoy.

Hope everyone’s had a great Monday ✅

Monday Motivation 💪🏽

Aug 2020 >> Oct 2021 🚀

My advice to anyone wanting to lose weight & get in the best shape of their lives.

• Be in a Calorie deficit
• Eat Clean food sources
• Stick with a training routine for a long period of time (12 weeks min)
• Walk more (10k steps)
• Liquid calories are too calories too!
• Reduce sugar intake (opt for sugar free)
• Be consistent & accountable
• Don’t give up when the scales don’t change after a week
• Make Better choices when eating out. Grilled = fried, Breast = thighs etc
• Use MyFitnessPal to track food daily
• Use a pedometer (smart device) to keep you motivated & target your exercise / steps daily

If your’e wanting to lose weight just remember you won’t be in a deficit forever & it doesn’t need to be all doom and gloom… the reality is you can still enjoy the foods you like!! The best way to learn and be educated on this is through a good coach who doesn’t put you on (what I like to call) a “prison diet” & There are so many good coaches out there. There’s also a lot of false content online that’s often extremely contradictory & misleading so it can often be confusing for someone who is just starting out their fitness journey.

Always Trust the process, Be disciplined & Believe in yourself ✅
