Kneeling Overhead Triceps Extension are a great exercise for working the triceps.
It adds the advantage of body stabilization with a lower center of gravity, since you are in a kneeling position.

Until recently I had never attempted a wide grip unassisted before.

Having a wider grip puts more emphasis on your lats as they get less help from surrounding muscles!
