The only Python I knew was a snake… and I still spoke at a tech conference.
On Friday, I stood in front of over 100 people at the Empower Women in Tech Conference London 2026, and spoke about AI Without Fear and owning your place in tech in midlife.
If I am honest, not long ago I would have said:
“I am not a tech person.”
Because, like many people, I believed that if you cannot code, you do not belong in tech.
That belief is more common than we think. And it quietly keeps capable women out of opportunities they are more than ready for.
So, this experience was not just about speaking. It was about challenging that belief, first in myself, and then in the room.
The conference itself was powerful, informative, and exceptionally well organised by Backie Taylor, Natalie Asprey , and all team
My sincere thank you to the organisers, to the keynote and panel speakers, and to every person I had the chance to connect with and speak to: Eleanor Whittaker, Francesca Insley , Val Kelly , Stacey Wade , Sairah Khalid and many more great women.
Your valuable insights and tips matter.
What stayed with me the most was the feedback to me.Several women told me that hearing my story helped them realise that it is not too late to start learning AI. That they do not need a technical background to begin.
At the same time, I had my own realisation.
For years, I was saying that I am not a 'tech person.'
Now I see how limited that thinking was.
Because when I look back, technology has always been part of my journey.
I was the one curious about new tools.
The one introducing whiteboards, smart boards, and interactive learning into the classroom.
The one teaching not only students, but colleagues how to use them.
Of course, my joke still stands:
"The only Python I knew for many years - was a snake! " :)
And no, I still do not code.
But today I use AI to create my own programmes, build landing pages, design, and automate parts of my business.
So what does that make me?
Not an engineer.
Not a coder.
But someone who belongs in this space.
A woman who uses technology with purpose. This was my biggest takeaway.
The question is no longer whether you are a tech person.
The real question is whether are you willing to try ?!
Technology is moving forward fast.
It will continue with you or without you.
You do not need to know everything.
You do not need to do it perfectly.
But you do need to make a decision to move.
And one more thing I truly believe.
Midlife is not a disadvantage here.
It is an advantage because we bring:
experience,
clarity,
and real life thinking
into a space that needs exactly that.
If this message resonates, start small.
Open a tool.
Ask a question.
Be curious.
Nothing changes if nothing changes!

Sometimes the strongest people are not born from support…
but from loneliness.
As my birthday approaches, I always take a moment to pause and reflect.
Today, while working with a client, I heard a story about loneliness hidden beneath the mask of a “strong woman”.
And it took me back a long way – to where my own inner strength began.
I was just five years old.
A little girl in a white dress, holding a candle.
Completely alone.
No one brought me there.
No one held my hand.
No one said, “I’m proud of you.”
But I still went.
Not because I had to.
Not because someone told me to.
But because, deep inside, I felt it mattered.
That day, I didn’t learn to be strong.
I learned to be alone.
And for a long time, I thought those were the same thing.
I grew up believing I had to do everything myself.
That asking for help was a weakness.
That being “good” and “right” was more important than feeling.
But today, working with women, I see it very clearly:
👉 many of us have learned to be strong… but not happy
👉 many know how to give… but struggle to receive
👉 many appear to have it all together… but feel alone inside
And this is where real transformation begins.
Strength is not about being alone.
Strength is allowing yourself to be seen.
Allowing yourself to receive.
Allowing yourself to carry less.
My work today is not only about money.
It is about feeling safe within yourself.
About your relationship with life.
About giving yourself permission to believe that things can be different.
“Always Enough” was not born from strategy.
It was born from a little girl who once chose to walk alone…
and who now helps other women realise they don’t have to.
If this resonates with you, perhaps it’s time to pause and ask yourself:
are you truly strong…
or have you simply become used to being alone?
💛
Leave a heart, if resonates.

“AI Without Fear: Own Your Place in Tech in Midlife” - this is my speach topic as a speaker at Empower Women In Tech on the 1st may , 2026, in London!
A few years ago I was sceptical about AI.
Not because I didn’t believe in technology -but because I didn’t believe it was for me.
Too complex.
Too technical.
Too far from my world as a coach, educator, and business owner.
And maybe… you’ve felt this too?
Today, I use AI daily.
Not just to “experiment” but to run and grow my business:
I automate processes
I create content faster
I simplify decisions
I save time, energy… and money. And most importantly - I feel in control, not overwhelmed.
I’m truly honoured to share that I will be speaking at the 📍 London | 1st May
This conference celebrates real, everyday women in tech - not just developers or engineers, but women who are creating impact in their own way.
During my talk:
“AI Without Fear: Own Your Place in Tech in Midlife”
I’ll be sharing my real journey:
from scepticism → to confidence → to daily use of AI
and how women - especially 40+ - can step into tech
without fear, pressure, or the need to be “technical.”
Because the truth is:
Tech is no longer a space you enter.
It’s a space you already belong to.
If you’ve ever thought:
“I’m too late”
“I’m not technical enough”
“I don’t understand this world”
This conversation is for you.
🎟 Tickets are available (full-day event):

And if you’re coming - I would genuinely love to connect in person.

What it really takes to feel safe, stable, and financially secure abroad?
I had the honour of being invited as a guest speaker at the Global Lithuanians event, where I spoke on:
“How to create inner and financial security while living abroad: what inner qualities do we truly need?”
This is a wide and deeply important topic, especially for those building a life away from their home country.
I wanted my talk to be not only insightful, but also practical and meaningful.
During my session, I shared:
🌻 My Money Tree concept - helping us understand where and why we must begin when taking care of our finances
🌻 The Abundance Garden system (part of my Always ENOUGH method) - offering practical ways to grow wealth without burnout
🌻 Three key inner skills we need to develop to feel safe, stable, and confident while living abroad
Like every meaningful event and stage, there were nerves- not from fear, but from a deep sense of responsibility to truly deliver value.
And this feedback meant a lot to me:
“Insightful, engaging and uplifting presentation… making us reflect, think and even laugh.” Raminta Sunshine (Full feedback is shared in my LinkedIn bio)
I don’t share this simply as a highlight, but as a reminder:
❗Financial security is not only about strategy and numbers.
It is deeply connected to how we think, how we feel, and how we trust ourselves, especially in unfamiliar environments.
A heartfelt thank you to the organisers for the invitation, and to the beautiful, global audience who joined, listened, and engaged so openly.
🌻
